The Port House Cava in Dublin

We had lunch on Sunday. Food is well priced. We ordered the Padron Peppers (€6.90) good, Tosta de Salmon (€7.90) only OK, Gambas al pil pil (€10.80) best dish of the meal, bread portion (€1.60), Setas con Huevo (€8.60) very good. Excellent service. Initially they seemed to be understaffed but this was resolved later in our meal. Very small wine list with mostly Sauvignon Blanc options which we do not drink. The Verdejo was unfortunately not available. My main issue with the restaurant was how cold it was. We would likely have stayed longer if it was comfortable, sadly it wasn’t. This impacted the atmosphere.

Food so great we went twice on our trip. No it's not irish food, but its fantastic tapas. Not one thing was bad. Get the pork burger, get the pork belly, get the croquettes. And the red sangria was delicious.

Food was good but we were waiting nearly 50 minutes and the air conditioning made it uncomfortably cold. Staff were apologetic as it was due to a large booking upstairs.

Great food and atmosphere but watch out if ordering Wine - I ordered €28 bottle and given and charged for a €43 bottle same name but with cuvee after name. They did not accept what happened!!

The experience was great. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and got 3 drinks to taste. We ordered 6 or 7 tapas, a wine and a sangria, we spent around €90. I thought the prices were ok and the food was good. The Brazilian employee who served us was a MIL, I think her name was Letícia. Nothing to complain about.

Didn’t have food. We sat outside it was lovely day out! Nice vibe to the place. Very kind waitress too even though the service was slow.

The brunch on Sunday, especially with the generous "all you can drink" deal, is outstanding. Highly recommended. All round good value.

A really gorgeous little spot on Camden Street. Last minute decision when In the area. Cosy friendly ambience with a very friendly server. Three tapas each and a bottle of red and every bite was delicious. There was such a great choice on the menu. Came away feeling that it was money well spent and that we will definitely be back, very soon. You can’t say the same for a lot of places.

Delicious food. Do not compare the tapas with what you are used to at a Tapas restaurant in the Netherlands. Dishes are bigger. Good in taste. And very friendly staff. Compliments for this. Worth a few minutes to walk.

Some of the best food I’ve had in Dublin. Easy to share small plates. Delicious drinks too. Fast service.
