The Port House Cava in Dublin

The croquetas were really good, specially the spinach one, and really nice desserts we ordered churros and crema catalana! Both were delicious. But other than that our experience wasn’t great… the chicken we ordered was undercook, the octopus was okay in taste but too expensive for its size. The service was very poor, they took to long with our dishes, forgot we ordered an octopus and we had to remind them, they never asked us for any other round of drinks, and when we were finish they took so long taking away our plates. It is an ok restaurant if you have no choice but definitely won’t go again.

My go to tapas place! Very easy to have online bookings, great food, great atmosphere & great service :) My usual favourites are Frango piri piri, croquetas, patatas bravas, classic tortilla espanola, fried calamares, gambas pil pil, and crema catalana. Last week just went here again with my colleagues for Christmas lunch. We tried their Christmas Set Menu (€45 pp) for 4 sets of sharing platters (appetisers, prima, secondi, desserts). The platters were delicious& large portions as well (pictures attached). Highly recommended for groups lunch/ dinner! :)

Good variety of vegetarian options and we really enjoyed the meal

Myself and girl friends met for a bottomless brunch in the late afternoon as it turned out. While we got great value in the drinks service and our servers were amazing, the food left us feeling hungry and disappointed. We mostly had steak sandwiches but the meat was very stringy and difficult to eat. Options were fairly limited to poached egg meals or the steak sandwich (at 4pm?). One friend was left waiting 30 minutes after we got our food before her poached eggs arrived. Bottom line, if offering bottomless brunch the food should be reasonable quality.

Tapas were delicious! We walked in and luckily got the only table available (outside of reservations) for the evening. We were two adults and one highchair, and the table was very small, but they made room to add the highchair! Front staff was only two that we saw (bartender and waitress) and they did seem overwhelmed the whole time, but outside of longer waits for drinks and the ticket, it was OK.

Havent been in there yet but will pay it a visit soon its in a great street and i hope it does very well. I wish them every sucess hugo quilty

As vegetarians we're unused to being SPOILT for choice. Nor are we used to getting fresh ideas for dishes. Love the kind of food that makes you feel nourished, not stuffed & sickish. Definitely want to come back.

Some dishes were truly delightful, particularly the beef cheeks, txistora, and gambas, which were standout favorites. However, a few plates arrived cold such as scallops and cauliflower. It took over 30 minutes from ordering to receiving the first dish, which was disappointing. The croquettes seemed hastily plated, lacking attention to presentation. Service was hit-or-miss. We requested the bill but waited nearly 20 minutes before needing to ask a different waitress, who resolved it quickly. The lack of a coat rack was inconvenient, as we had to squeeze into a small booth with our jackets. Overall, while there are glimpses of great potential here, the inconsistent service and lackluster execution mean I'd need some convincing to return.

Gran comida, grandes bebidas, gran ambiente... el servicio fue atento y el equilibrio justo de rápido pero no apresurado. El punto culminante absoluto fueron los elementos sin gluten del menú ... excepcional y nunca una idea posterior / inconveniente como la mayoría de los otros lugares

Un lugar precioso en Camden Street. Decisión de última hora cuando en el área. Ambiente agradable y acogedor con un servidor muy amable. Tres tapas cada uno y una botella de tinto y cada bocado era delicioso. Había una gran elección en el menú. Salió sintiendo que era dinero bien gastado y que sin duda volveremos, muy pronto. No se puede decir lo mismo de muchos lugares.
