The Pottery Restaurant in Arklow

Amazing food. Fantastic service. Otstanding Atmosphere. Couldn't fault anything from start to finish. Will definitely be returning for more delights. We only took photos of starters! We had Goats Cheese with a Rubard, Pistachio and onion crisp and Sea Scallops. 2 great choices! Unreal! For mains we had Featherblade beef and Goat. Both fantastic. Portions sizes were extremely generous. Everything was so so more'ish. Getting hungry just thinking about our dining experience. Highly highly recommend 👌

Lovely 1 night stay here with my partner. The food was really tasty, the staff were all very friendly, helpful and attentive. They couldn't do enough for us. After dinner there was live entertainment in the main bar which had a great atmosphere. The resteraunt was very warm and we mentioned this to the manager, he immediately turned on the air con and we were cooled down within a minute. The staff are such a credit to the hotel and we will definitely be back. They made the experience very worth while. There was a short haired blonde lady in the resteraunt who could not do enough for us, such a warm person, unfortunately we didnt manage to get her name but thank you. The hotel is also situated in a very scenic location right beside the beach and sea with stunning coastal views. Highly recommend!

Basic family room. Bit dated but suited our needs perfectly. 5mins walk to Arklow Town, 30-40mins drive to fabulous attractions like Glendalough, Powerscourt Waterfall and Avondale park. Food good as was the service.

Atmosphere warm and welcoming, with decorations and menu adapted for Valentine's weekend. Food really exceptionally tasty. The staff were always on hand to help and ensure our comfort. I should like to congratulate the Manager for his obvious encouragement of the staff - in particular Nulo , Annie and also the Reception team. Looking forward to staying there again, and enjoying the music too - James 's music was great and 'made' the weekend.

Special was roast chicken leg, I asked the waitress if it was breast of the chicken and leg, and she replied yes. It wasn't, just the leg with veg, gravy, and mash (I had chips) Very bland, very small portions, and not good value.

Such lovely staff and lovely hotel, my little boy turned 3 and we left a little note saying it was his birthday and the staff went above and beyond, leaving us balloons, a banner and some deserts saying happy birthday to him. We really appreciate it and our boy loved his stay here. He was so happy. Thanks again, will definitely be back! Definitely recommend for familys or couples

The 4* rating for this hotel just is not warrented. Staff were friendly, but overall, the service was poor. The room was comfortable, but wifi did not work in our room, and despite being assured following a call to front desk staff that it should work if we turned our phones off/on - it didn't! The food was average at dinner and breakfast, but the brown bread / fruit bread / pastries were delicious.
