The Quays in Cobh

Restaurant overlooking the harbor, the staff is friendly and the food is not bad. I give it 3 stars because the amount of food is small for the price of each dish and because they charge you €5 more per person for service. As far as I know, service is already included in the price of the dishes. We have not encountered this in any other restaurant or bar in Ireland.

The Quays Restaurant – Quick bite, decent view, no drama A solid spot to pause for lunch, a drink, or even a cheeky snack. Good location with nice views if you nab the right seat, always a bonus when your meal comes with a bit of scenery (or people) watching. The food? Fine. The service? Also fine. Sometimes that's exactly what you want. Conclusion: No Wow, but it’ll feed you, water you, and give you something to look at. I’d happily stop by again.

An excellent place to eat on a terrace with great views. The food is varied and the prices are reasonable.

The menu had limited choice everything came with chips. It was expensive for fish and chips. The staff were friendly and the service was good

The man at the front desk took a while to get me to a table. I guess he was busy. Then he did check to make sure everything was okay. The food is just okay. A great place to go if you're looking for something simple to eat. Busy place, and the service is great. The waitresses are friendly.

I really enjoyed eating here. I had vegetable soup as a starter and chicken as a main. I had apple crumble with ice cream for dessert all perfect. The staff were nice, the service was quick. Would go again.

Food is ok but very expensive for what you get. €11.75 for seafood chowder with 1 small slice of bread..chowder tasted nice but was thin/soup like - needed a bit more fish n potatoes to thicken it. €18.95 for a margarita pizza which was only average! At this price it should be top quality. The only vegan option was chickpea salad @ €14.50 which was really bland. With 1 alcoholic drink each, for 3 people, the bill was €80 for a very light lunch. Not good value.
