Unfortunately the fish and chips were not the best, they were just tasteless and probably overcooked. I think the price is too high for such food quality. The chowder though was pretty good. The service is good.

Our delicious coconut panko calamari fritti appetizer was followed by a generous portion of sumptuous seafood chowder accompanied by Irish soda bread. The soothing, spectacular waterfront view topped our lunch setting.

We had a group of 7. We called ahead to reserve a table. Service was great. I ordered the steak which was fantastic. No plates had food left including the kids. Nice location overlooking the ocean. Unfortunately we had the Ireland experience at the time which it was raining so had to sit in doors. I'd recommend and is kid friendly.

Had a meal here whilst visiting my family in Cobh a few weeks ago. I had the hake and it was absolutely gorgeous, will look forward to visiting again when we come back to Cobh in August😋🤗

We had fish and chips and to say it was just awful. Chips must have been a week old and an awful tange off them. Fish was drowned in oil .

I really enjoyed eating here. I had vegetable soup as a starter and chicken as a main. I had apple crumble with ice cream for dessert all perfect. The staff were nice, the service was quick. Would go again.

Food is ok but very expensive for what you get. €11.75 for seafood chowder with 1 small slice of bread..chowder tasted nice but was thin/soup like - needed a bit more fish n potatoes to thicken it. €18.95 for a margarita pizza which was only average! At this price it should be top quality. The only vegan option was chickpea salad @ €14.50 which was really bland. With 1 alcoholic drink each, for 3 people, the bill was €80 for a very light lunch. Not good value.

The Restaurant at Cobh Heritage

21/04/2025: Menu is simple but sometimes the simplest of experiences are the best. Wow, was it tasty and fresh. You simply have to have a hot ham and cheese croissant with relish and the warm ham and cheese scones ( yes scones) with relish as well. Desert wise the warm apple pie with ice cream, the moist carrot cake and the apple and cinnamon crumble were just delicious. Prices were reasonable and what a great environment, nestled in the Cobh heritage centre, near Cobh train station. Special thank you Donna and Ashley for looking after us.
