The Red Bank Restaurant in Carrick-on-shannon

This was my second time there, it's a lovely restaurant and the staff are super, esp the young lad serving on our table. He had a brilliant personality, a manager in the making. The celeraic and chestnut soup was divine, mains & dessert was also beautiful. The only thing I would change is the lighting, too dim, i could hardly see the menu. Apart from that it's worth a visit .

From the moment of entry ourexperience was very positive. Our party of 14 were so well looked after. Excellent service. Very friendly helpful staff. Food was beautiful. Lovely comfortable atmosphere easy to talk. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

We visited Red Bank Restaurant on the 6th of December as a group of 19 girls for a hen party, and the experience was exceptional. We were seated in our own private dining room, which was perfect for our group and really added to the occasion. The food and service were absolutely excellent from start to finish. The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially given the size of our group, and made the whole meal run seamlessly. The ladies who attended are still talking about how good the food, service, and venue were. It was the perfect setting for our celebration, and I would highly recommend Red Bank Restaurant for any group bookings or special occasions.

I went here for my graduation dinner. I ordered the seafood linguine which was a little oily for my liking, however the flavour was nice. There was a slice of toasted baguette on the side which didn't add anything to the dish, it was bland and overly crunchy. However the dessert was lovely and the cocktails were nice (although a little strong). We also got a lovely complimentary taster of the soup of the day while waiting for our food.

Had my fourth visit to the RedBank last night and again it did not disappoint. If in the area it is a must. This venue is a real bonus to Carrick and I hope moving forward the food stays consistently great.

Had a date night last night and finally decided to try the Red Bank. Let’s just say it was perfect all around. Maybe a little pricey for some pockets but otherwise, worthy of 5 stars.

I think this might’ve been my favourite restaurant experience I’ve had in my life!! The atmosphere was delightful, the food was incredible, the service was great and they included personal touches for our celebration. 100% go here if you find yourself in Carrick 😋 🙌🏼

The food at The Red Bank is fantastic. The service is friendly and attentive. The seating is relatively close, and when all the tables are occupied, it's very crowded and noisy. But the food is excellent and highly recommended. The menu is relatively small, but everything is absolutely fresh and of very good quality. Reservations are recommended.

The food was nice and tasty but for the price you paying the portions were very small. We had Main courses and Desserts. Very expensive.
