Lovely bar with a spot to sit for everyone. We came for the good food and live music. If you have the chance, make sure to see Anthony Roche. He is an absolutely amazing musician and kind person. He was our favorite musician we saw during our time in Waterford. The restaurant area is cozy and the food was perfect!

Went to the reg today with my niece . I had a main course portion of goats cheese salad it was very nice but I had a job to find the few crumbs of goats cheese that they put in the salad. The staff were so nice and helpful. But I paid 18 euros for a plate of letus.

Besøgte stedet en mandag aften og fik nogle udmærkede Fish and Cips. The Reg er tilsyneladende en del af et gammelt forsvarsanlæg med en berømt Tower. Oprindeligt en borg bygget af vikingerne, der kom til Waterford i 914. Så god og kompetent servering i spændende omgivelser. Vi kommer gerne igen!

09/12/2025: Very nice hotel and friendly staff I haven't stayed at this hotel but I do like it the staff in the bar are very helpful and nice it's great location the only thing I didn't like was that there is no leisure centre in the hotel it would suit the hotel great if it had room for a leisure centre and a swimming pools steam rooms etc the hotels in waterford city that do have a pool do not do a day pass for other hotels and that's a very big disappointment.
