This was an excellent place to visit, food was delicious and very good value for money. Staff were professional and courteous . Overall highly recommend for a Sunday lunch visit. parking was ample as well , we will be back

Great spot, slightly out of the way. Staff were really nice, kids serving us was extremely helpful. Garlic bread and Calimari starter were brilliant. Burger was very very good but the fish and chips was a touch disappointing. The guiness was decent 3.5/5. Good spot to stop if your are looking a good feed.

This has been my favourite pub in Ireland going back years and I always try to pop in when in the area. Such friendly staff, good food and drinks, and such a relaxing atmosphere. Over 20 years I've never had a bad experience.

02/02/2026: Our stay at Mount Juliet was made even more memorable by several meals at The Hound, and it truly did not disappoint. From appetizers to mains and desserts, every dish we had across multiple lunches and dinners was extremely good. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea; even though the weather kept us from the outside terrace, the staff were so attentive and ensured we were perfectly taken care of indoors. It was a flawless dining experience that has me already looking forward to my next staycation!
