Visited 7 horseshoes pub/restaurant for dinner. Warm, comfortable and cosy atmosphere. Lively yet quiet. Service is welcoming and friendly. Food was some of the best country pub grub you could get

Brilliant, whether for a drink or great food, lunch or dinner, this place never disappoints, staff will go out of their way to ensure everything is to the customer’s satisfaction!

Lovely Sunday dinner generous portions. staff were very friendly & accomadating as we hadn't booked ahead. Lovely warm atmosphere nice open fire in front bar.

Just went for an impromptu lunch here. Enroute home to northwest and chanced belturbet not knowing what lay ahead Friendly welcome, friendly staff young and old, baby bowl out straight away for our baby. Then rest of meals, for adults and kids. Food top notch, gravy so so tasty. Loads of extra veg/mash. Blackcurrant whole bottle left on table which helped the kids. Also had a plastic tumbler for our 3yr old boy, who still spilled it. Sorry about that Sirloin of beef was delicious! Turkey and ham was devoured! Priced very reasonably. Thanks for a lovely meal, you've put belturbet on the map for our northwest to east trips in the future

We spent a week in Belturbet for family and buisness reasons. After having a meal in the seven horseshoes, well, we had 3 more dinners there day after day. I tend to travel quite a bit in Ireland, and I can say without a doubt this has probably the best quality food I have had the good pleasure of having, combined with lovely service , and a great feel. Plates came out hot, food was prepared on the spot to the highest quality, and the open fire lent the place even a better ambiance. Would return without a doubt, and recommend anyone going through Cavan to have a meal there. I guarantee you wont be disappointed.
