Litterally the greatest place for food in athlone,servers are lovely,food is incredible

Came across this pub while we were looking around Athlone. We were looking for a good decent lunch, and were not disappointed. We got a roast dinner each and it was gorgeous. The beef was like butter, cooked to perfection and the veg and mash could not be faulted. Definitely pop into here if you’re looking for a good hearty Irish meal with good customer service. Also a traditional looking pub with an old feel to it so the atmosphere was great

Lovely warm welcome, big fires, wonderful staff and everywhere buzzing. We had gorgeous lunch, excellent beef and crunchy apple crumble, top class, excellent. Thank you, you all made sad, nostalgic trip to Athlone very alright!!

Probably one of my favourite places to eat these days, a clear delicious menu of food, great service and a cozy atmosphere. I ordered the chefs burger with chips and I have to say it was one of the best I’ve had. The chips were crispy and the burger was juicy. Absolutely great place to eat

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, staff are friendly and efficient... The only thing is that you will queue and wait on a Sunday for a table but it's definitely worth the wait !!!

The staff are terrific and the food is great - one of our favourite places for lunch in Athlone!
