Good bar although the staff can be sort of annoying constantly walking around the outside area to see if you want to buy another drink it kind of puts people on edge and its hard to enjoy a drink.

We booked the snug at the Shelbourne last Friday week for 9 of us and with table service, great atmosphere, great whiskey etc we couldn’t have been better taken care of. Highly recommend this place

Took a big stag group here for a tasting, and were fantastically looked after by Rory and Findlay. Such a great bar and atmosphere we stayed for the rest of the afternoon after the tasting was finished. Couldn't reccomend more highly. Thanks for looking after us chaps!

The best whiskey bar in Cork and possibly the best in Ireland. It has every Irish whiskey you ever wanted to try, and many more you never knew existed. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Recently celebrated my 30th and had an excellent time. The staff are all so obliging, kind and just great at their jobs. Cannot recommend the place enough. My favourite pub in Cork.

21/03/2025: Lovely spot. Highly recommend for brunch
19/03/2025: Visited with friends for brunch which was really lovely. Two of us had the french toast which was lovely, one had a full Irish and one had pancakes. It was a little tight on space for my friend who had a baby and stroller which I had specifically mentioned in the booking form, but other than that a really lovely experience. Staff are so friendly and warm and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Parking is not free but would recommend the elysian car park over city hall. We will be back soon!
