Once again found myself back in my favourite bar in Cork City. Staff are second to none and Aoife makes the meanest porn star martini. Love this place, staff make the atmosphere and never fail to deliver. Brings me back time after time.

I had great time on my whiskey tasting, my host Finlay was really knowledgeable in history and arts and crafts of making proper Irish whisky. I would definitely recommend anyone that wants to know history of Irish whisky and enjoys a good glass of one to visit and book whisky tasting in Shelbourne!!

Great Buzz - Great location - plenty of outside seating - with heaters. Attentive barstaff - loads of Drinks options - carefully made Cocktails - Great mix of Clientele on the heart of the Victorian quarter. Always busy.

We were traveling and heard that Shelbourne Bar is a great place for finding amazing Irish whiskey. Arriving we found 30 pages of possible whiskey choices and every one just as good as the next. Sitting down and ordering our first round, we were pleasantly greeted by the staff. After asking a few questions, our bartender Findley started offering suggestions. The joy of his sharing the knowledge of so many great whiskeys was amazing! We would recommend that anyone going to Cork and enjoying Irish whiskey, stop here. You will not be disappointed!

My group did the whiskey tasting experience with Finley. We’re american and it quickly became clear we had a lot to learn - lovely time, lovely drinks, and a true expert walking us through the whole thing. Would recommend to anyone!
