My husband loves Lord of the Rings so it was a fun experience to come by. The food was good and staff was friendly.

We had a really lovely lunch here and it was very reasonably priced.

We were looking for a fun place to have a drink and get something to eat. Had passed it a couple times during the week and decided to stop in. It was a wonderful place.

We stopped by The Shire Bar and Cafe in Killarney and had an amazing time! The steak sandwich was absolutely delicious – tender, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The warm Irish welcome made us feel right at home, and the cosy atmosphere added to the charm. As dog owners, we especially appreciated how dog-friendly the place was. Our furry companion was treated with just as much kindness as we were! Great food, friendly service, and a relaxed vibe – we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Killarney (with or without a pup)!

Had an amazing cider here and vibe was awesome, especially if you're a Lord of the Rings fan!

Great lil bar. Enjoyed visiting with the bartender Shorty, the owner and a couple local patrons. Had the Frankies Favorite Pizza…good crust!

The portions were a bit small for the price, which felt slightly expensive considering the size. However, the service was okay and the place has a great atmosphere, which made the experience enjoyable overall

Fun Lord of the Rings themed location. Bartender great. But, there was a problem customer that seemed to be a regular that was very aggressive and the bartender probably should have stepped in. We left and spent less $ there to avoid what was going to become a fight.
