The Shire, menu in Killarney

We stopped for drinks on a Sunday night first time in Ireland. Fans of LOR.Bartender was excellent! Gave us tips about places to visit in Ireland. Told us about the history of The Shire. You have to try The Hobbit Juice! Definitely a must stop for your visit in Killarney!!

Extremely welcoming to babies and toddlers . Food and service top class.

Fun idea to give the pub a hobbit character.

It has little to do with the region. Beer quite good, food not so much.

Very cute, highly recommend the bar area if you're a Lord of the Rings fan!

Great food and coffee, but very minimal LOTR theme. I'd love to see some more memorabilia or decor to increase the Shire ambiance.

We took 2 starters, it was nice (I loved fries with beef topping). Lords of rings vibe was good too

The Shire hosted a hen party I was organising this weekend. Mike was fantastic to deal with in the lead up, and Colin and staff on the day were great. We had ordered prosecco and finger food as options, and food was in abundance, hot and tasty. We hosted our hen activity also here, a perfect setting if anyone else is looking for the same. Highly recommend The Shire,

Sweet café with nice breakfast. The waffles were not fresh made. The service was good, not great.
