The Silver Oak in Athlone

This was by far the nicest Indian food I’ve had. We ate here twice during our short stay in Athlone. Service was very good too.

Takeaway food is getting more and more expensive and sometimes the quality doesn't justify the price. Not so with Silver Oak - the quality and quantity of their food is fantastic, with the Tandoori Chicken and Saag Peneer being my favorites. Best Indian in Athlone, highly recommended A+++

We have been here many times and the food very good. However it was a long wait for our order and seemed slightly different taste to what we usually have (the Jalfezi) The water in the pitcher tasted very strange so we couldn't drink it Overall a great Indian restaurant 😋

First time I was here and I will be back... I was talked into coming here by my other half and to be honest, I was starving and didn't want to waste the evening.....well I was proved wrong!!! It was amazing from the get go.... Staff are super friendly, professional and are on hand to help. Food is out of this world and the only thing I can give out about was.....I couldn't finish it as I was full with the amount we got......🫣 What a bargain for buck here. An amazing setting for that romantic meal or even just meals between friends. Well done here folks..... You've created perfection in a restaurant!!! 10/10

Service was good but food was mediocre. Vindaloo sauce was a thick paste- was pungent to taste. Starters were ok. Staff were very nice - just not the usual Indian experience

Absolutely loved this place! The food was bursting with authentic Indian flavors, especially the butter chicken and garlic naan. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back!
