The Snug in Bantry legal town

Cosy pub atmosphere with warm staff. Food is very good with enough variety of offerings for everyone. Seafood never fails to be fresh and full of flavour. Don’t have to wait in the winter but make reservations in the summer✔️👍🏻

The mussels and prawn risotto consisted of clam shells, clams (not mussels), 4 tiny prawns and rice with a large amount of butter. Not worth the €23 by any stretch of the imagination.

Excellent service with amazing friendly and polite staff. Food is amazing. Highly recommend the beef stew. great portion for a great price.

Beautiful beef stew and the service is fantastic, very nice barman. Came back for drinks later on after food 5 stars

I like The Snug. It's friendly and welcoming and the food is usually pretty good. I hadn't been in for a good while and in the interim a huge TV has been installed directly above some of the bar seating which is unfortunate. It's very intrusive. Such a shame.

Located on the main street in Bantry. Parking close by on the street. Was there at lunch time and very busy. Lucky to get a table. Nice food on the menu, and staff lovely. Worth a visit.

We had dinner here twice on our recent trip to Bantry. It's a short walk from The Maritime where we were staying. We had booked in advance and arrived on a Saturday evening to a lovely busy cosy bar/restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty choice. We opted for the specials- the hake and the lemon sole/prawns the first evening and we both had halibut the second evening. Lovely vegetables accompanied the dishes. Would happily eat there again. They close Monday and Tuesday.

Called in today for lunch. Very busy. Very nice. The Staff were very efficient and kind. Food very good, and would recommend a visit. There is parking on the street close to these premises.
