Excellent food with a great friendly service. Sitting in the snug was just a fantastic experience. And the home cooked meals was just that but perfectly done.

Wow! A very quaint pub, even with its slightly decadent charm. Even though it was crowded, they went out of their way to seat us (with two kids, and here with two car seats and strollers in tow, etc.). Truly excellent food. Fantastic beers. And the customers were also pleasantly welcoming.

Excellent food very tasty pasta dish. Only issue was the linguini had no calamari as mentioned in description. It was an expensive enough dish and for it to be missing a main component was a bit disappointing. Other than that a good experience. Would return and recommend.

You'll need to reserve a table or wait over half an hour for a seat inside, which is much more comfortable than the outdoor seating, given the chilly evenings. The service is a bit chaotic, but the quality of the food makes up for it.

We had a lovely meal and both the food and service were great. I had the Hereford Sirloin special andy wife had the local crab salad. They were very busy on a Friday evening, but we were seated quickly. Maeve was very attentive and made us feel welcome.

A lovely setting for a bar and restaurant. It was very busy when we got there got a corner counter table but a bit of light could have been great as I couldn't see the menu. For was I got it was very nice, love to have seen more to advertise the local peoducts

15/08/2025: Had a lovely lunch here, the quick fix special and my partner had the sea food chowder. Both were exceptional. The veg soup was to die for Will definitely be back
15/08/2025: Popped into The Quay as wanted to get the feel of a traditional Irish pub. The wooden beams and space was nice. The staff smiling and polite always asking if everything was ok. Tried a guiness from the motherland and omg thousand times better than the stuff I'm served in London. Ordered a sea food chowder. My taste buds where dancing, the chowder was heart warming and the fish was amazing. Thank you Quay Bar and thankyou team for being best in class your hospitality was noted.

16/07/2025: Great vibe in that pub, which seems very small from the outside, but is quite deep with several rooms in the back and also a nice beer garden. Great atmosphere with friendly people and the staff is very nice, though not numerous enough to handle the crowd.
