The Tankard in

Our server was far and away the best we had in all of Ireland. I want to say it was Sharon and should have wrote it down, but I could be wrong. So fun and personable. Im sure they are all great though.

Excellent quality of food. I have been here a few times and the food has always been excellent, most recently had the sticky sesame cauliflower wings and pork belly with scallops and mash followed by creme brulee. Very satisfied with each course, would highly recommend the cauliflower wings in particular. Good service and atmosphere too.

Honestly, the food is out of this world, im a very experienced eater. We returned 3 times this holiday. All the staff are fantastic ..but Susan has welcomed us as old friends and made us feel very special. A massive thumbs up to the Tankard

This is one of those restaurants that you don't just eat at, you make a memory. Every single aspect of our visit was exemplary, and I can neither fault nor recommend this place enough. The seafood mornay is world class, the chowder starter is the best I've ever had, and the various dishes were all well sized, properly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We had to get a taxi to and from the restaurant as its a little bit outside of Tralee, but it was more than worth the extra hassle and expense. Best decision of our holiday, and we hope to pay another visit in the future. In our many holidays around Ireland, this is one of the best, if not THE best, dining experiences we have had.

Absolutely excellent meal with great service and terrific value for money

Great dinner and experience at the Tankard Inn. From the soda bread to the dessert is was all delicious. I had the seafood mornay and would highly recommend. Wine was well priced and the setting is beautiful, right on the waterfront. Highly recommend and worth the drive :) Thanks to all the staff

Fabtastic food... Great staff... Best of local ingredients.... Specialists in seafood.... Excellent chowder and tender roast beef... With freshest of produce... Keep up the good work folks 😊
