Honestly, the food is out of this world, im a very experienced eater. We returned 3 times this holiday. All the staff are fantastic ..but Susan has welcomed us as old friends and made us feel very special. A massive thumbs up to the Tankard

This is one of those restaurants that you don't just eat at, you make a memory. Every single aspect of our visit was exemplary, and I can neither fault nor recommend this place enough. The seafood mornay is world class, the chowder starter is the best I've ever had, and the various dishes were all well sized, properly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We had to get a taxi to and from the restaurant as its a little bit outside of Tralee, but it was more than worth the extra hassle and expense. Best decision of our holiday, and we hope to pay another visit in the future. In our many holidays around Ireland, this is one of the best, if not THE best, dining experiences we have had.

Absolutely excellent meal with great service and terrific value for money

Great dinner and experience at the Tankard Inn. From the soda bread to the dessert is was all delicious. I had the seafood mornay and would highly recommend. Wine was well priced and the setting is beautiful, right on the waterfront. Highly recommend and worth the drive :) Thanks to all the staff

Visiting with family who are regulars at The Tankard. A super place with a very warm welcome and a stunning backdrop. Service was prompt and friendly and the food was very good. Lots of gorgeous fresh fish options, all served with delicious accompaniments and sauces. All in all a very pleasant evening 😊

We recently had our Wedding at the Tankard. It was one of the best days ever. Julianne is incredible. She was so helpful and supportive in organising everything with us to ensure we had a brilliant day. The staff were so attentive and friendly, all our guests felt so relaxed. The food was just amazing, we are still getting calls about how good the food was. The pergola was just perfect for our service looking out onto the bay and the mountains. The setting is just beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather. It made a fantastic day even better. Thank you Julianne and all the team at the Tankard, you all made our day so special.
