The Venue in Strandhill

Beautiful restaurant, next to the ocean, with amazing views. Had the spicy chicken wings, fish and chips. The food was excellent. Well worth a visit.

Excellent food, service was excellent, staff made our evening! Came back to Sligo from the North Coast specifically to come back here!

Would not be rushing back,food was very basic and a long wait for it which made the whole experience a let down,not be returning in a hurry .

Great location and fantastic food. Very accommodating and helpful staff. Views out over the sea at Strandhill, it was a stormy day when we visited so it was perfect to watch the wild waves from a distance. We all enjoyed our food, steaks, seafood, starters and kids meals, everything was excellent.

Early evening, so not many in, but it was quieter than I remembered. Also the food was not as good as I remembered from the past, but the staff were lovely.

Fabulous restaurant....food excellent

Went here for lunch. Seafood chowder to start which was delicious. Both of us wanted large plates of crab claws which were very expensive and not worth the money. Addressed this with the waitress who seemed to agree but said they don’t make anything on them and told me that at this time of year they were small and “probably were frozen”. Nevertheless took the full price of them when paying. Really? Why serve them if they know this? It’s being greedy and dishonest… there isn’t any need for it!

Fantastic Food. Great selection on the menu. Reasonable price with good portions. Lovely sunset right from the window of the restaurant.
