The Village Inn in Celbridge

Really nice food & staff. Highly recommend for familes 👌

The Village Inn is a truly special gem! We were promptly greeted and our names taken by Ross for the waitlist, who was incredibly charismatic and helped us get a drink while we waited for a table. We instantly felt like friends with the staff and customers there. A nice man whose name was Dugan or Donnel (I think, I apologize if I misspell/misremember names here!) told me he could make me the best espresso martini of my life. I doubted him, but it truly was the best of my life. And I’ve had hundreds! Keen (spelled phonetically, I apologize again for not knowing how to spell Irish names!) took care of us while we waited for a table and was happy to chat with us. The rugby game was on and it was so fun to cheer with other patrons! When we were sat for dining we had the absolute pleasure of being taken care of by the kindest and most attentive servers, Lauren and Jane. They were knowledgeable about the menu, quick with recommendations, and happy to accommodate our gluten intolerance. Plus, they are good craic! The food was delicious, the cocktails phenomenal, and the service technically great. But like any good restaurant or pub, the true value is in the quality of its staff. The Village Inn is wealthy in its charming and skilled staff. We will be returning often and tipping generously!

I’ve visited The Village In couple of times, I love the ambience and food. The quantity is great. Last time I visited I ordered 1. The House Soup - Cauliflower & Turmeric 2. Chicken Wings & Veg Stir Fry Best meal for a cold day. Highly recommend .

I ate the 38 day aged steak sandwich, medium rare. Absolutely wonderful - though I'd preferred skinny fries but that's me being picky. rye river coastal IPA was on point and a brilliant accompinant to the meal

Well all I can say is that the village inn celbridge is one of the best pubs and restaurant i have been in and today really topped it all , I have been in the village inn on a number of occasions for food and at night for the pints and always highly recommended it , 2 week ago I rang the manager in there and explained that I was looking for a booking for about 20 people for today Saturday for a family 80th birthday lunch time food and small celebration well the manager took on board what we wanted and went all out and you always know when u have good management the staff work well as for today they gave us a small area up the back and the staff were just the best looking after our needs all day been there on top of think but one girl really stood out (never got her name but the management will know and hopefully name her ) but she looked after everyone food drinks anything we needed lovely person well thats it guys thanks for a great day and we will be back very again oh ye they do lovely guinness 😀

Popped in around 7pm on Friday and what a buzz in t he place. Large mix from older couples to younger ones and a few large groups in for a mix of food and drinks. I had a steak sandwich which was super and came on a bap with onions mushrooms and a side salad as well as a good portion of chunky chips. The pepper sauce in the side had a great punch to it. Lovely young staff and a manager or owner who had the place running like a well oiled machine. Highly recommend 👍
