The Village Kitchen in Sneem

Fast service, but couldn’t see any care. Got an ice coffee, but the coffee was VERY watered down. Food was okay, ambience a little less of my liking

A nice (in every sense of the word) little surprise in Sneem out of season was this café, which contained lots of delicacies. Cakes including banoffee and lemon tart and scones…yum yum! The coffee was also good. A very warm place.

A perfect stop. Very nice place, very kind staff and above all excellent food, I had a very good soup of the day (basically a vegetable soup) and the apple pie was equally good. If you need a bit of refreshment during your tour of the ring of Kerry, the Village kitchen is the place you should choose!

Very good place for a coffee or a hot chocolate - be sure to try the scone or one of the (warm) cakes.

We arrived just after lunchtime, we were immediately seated, we were served by lovely staff, I had the house burger with real chips and a crisp salad, one friend had fish and chips with salad and the other had chowder with brown bread , the three meals were faultless and not a scrap left on the plates. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and I have no problem recommending it. Great to know I wont be disappointed when I bring other friends to dine there. L

The best Irish stew I have ever eaten in my life. You have to come here to try it.

Fast service and very good food. We had the lamb stew… I am still dreaming about it!

A charming spot in the heart of Sneem. The aroma of a bustling kitchen pushes through the doors and it hits you before you even walk through. The menu is short, but offers a diverse set of options. The town’s priest, who is extremely friendly, visits daily and adds to the overall beauty of this lovely Irish eatery. I highly recommend stopping in for at least a coffee when you’re in the Ring.
