The Whale's Tail in Clonakilty

Had such a lovely Mother’s Day spent at the whales tail where every mom was given a goody bag with a box of chocolates leaving - it was a lovely touch and very memorable experience. Food was divine and service was fantastic. We will most definitely be returning!

Very well presented high standard of cuisine. The service excellent and the food tasted glorious. Ideal place to visit especially after the distillery tour. Highly recommend.

Party of 6 had a wonderful meal, gorgeous food, very generous portions & deserts were amazing, lovely Christmas atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommend 👌

This place is so cool. A buzz about the place that is rare. Food spoke for itself. Starter Nachos Mex authentic Adictive taste Main course Duck was sublime Desert was enough to convert religion (Baked Alaska) That was like the 51st State. Daniel is a hospitality professional, his in-depth knowledge of the food, matched with his keen ear for the customer's needs are uncanny. All the staff are so welcoming.

Duck gyros were lovely as starter Chicken wings starter big portion with a sweet taste Steak sandwich for main was cooked to perfection - steak just pulled apart and the ciabatta was crispy Steak with chips for main was also perfectly cooked Snickers cheesecake was unique Baked Alaska was perfectly done with ice cream and tangy fruit in the centre Wait staff were friendly especially the man who waited our table Would recommend
