The White House in Kinsale

We had lunch there on the quiet terrace at the back of the building. Very pleasant setting, friendly welcome, dog accepted - we had a good time and ate well

We dined recently at The White House Kinsale and it was amazing. We had the crab scones/moules marinéres and posh prawn kataifi nest and all three were very well presented and very tasty. The nest, which is edible, was something completely different and the prawns had a lovely hit of heat in the sauce. For our mains, we had the seafood pancake which was packed with seafood and was very filling. It was just perfect. We also had the Katsu curry and it certainly did not disappoint. The flavours were perfect and the sauce was creamy and mildly spicy. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough and the staff were attentive and most obliging. We will definitely return.

A lovely Irish pub and restaurant serving fantastically presented food and a wide range of drinks all day. The service provided by Lisa was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in, she took care of us and helped us with any concerns, maintaining the upmost friendliness. Individuals like Lisa are few and far between so her customer service skills should be praised by management. I would highly recommended. I have been to many establishments like this across Ireland and the UK and this has been outstanding.

Beautiful setting with lots of rooms separated from each other. Very attentive service!

We were staying nearby on our road trip around Ireland and decided to stop in for an early dinner. The best decision so far. The food was amazing, we both had the lamb shank pot pie and it was the best meal we’ve had on the holiday so far. Friendly and efficient service. Can’t fault it. Five stars!

Very interesting, a real irish place

Spent the better half of the day talking, laughing, and drinking. Turns out we weren't half bad for a couple of yanks! I can't wait to go back.
