The Wicklow Heather in Laragh

Busy St Patricks day.. they were accommodating, friendly and just generally on the ball. Place and staff were inviting and homey. Food was honestly impressive👍🏻

Great place to eat. AVINASH gave us a great service :). there’s parking just in front. 30mins walking from the visitors center through a walkway. we recommend making a reservation.

We celebrated my mother’s 85th birthday in the Wicklow Heather. The food, service was excellent. Thank you so much for making it a lovely event for our family ❤️

Lovely lunch, generous portions

Dined in the Restuarant food was nice. Had the chowder not enough fish personally and too much cream. Had the chicken supreme was tasty side of baby potatoes and vegetables couldn't fault it. Location is ideal if visiting the area. Had a cocktail it was delicious. Overall it was a good experience food ,ambiance, service until I went to make payment at the Cashier area.i was completely ignored by one of the servers that looked like he was chasing a tip. A simple acknowledgment would of been appreciated bad manners.

Had breakfast there today. We had just walked in with no prior reservation. It got busy quite quickly, it being a Sunday I guess. They have a lot of outdoor seating area but it being the usual Feb/early March cold morning - preferred the indoor seating. It's a bit dark but nicely done place. The people serving were friendly and served the coffee with the toast from the breakfast quite promptly which I thought was a good idea given that the rest of breakfast (mini Heather and a poach with guacomale)took a bit longer. The coffee was nice and so was the breakfast. Special mention the hash brown. Definitely a nice place deep into Wicklow, would love to go back and have breakfast on a brighter warmer day. Liked the place so much so went in last weekend when it was bright and sunny. Some pictures from then.

Avinash was really nice and the place welcoming. We ordered the brie quiche, it was good but the portion was quite small for the price (12 euros)
