Delicious food. And the staff are great in particular the gentleman that should use to our seat. A lovely spot.

They had a small selection of dishes. Service and atmosphere fine, not excellent. There is quite a gray, dark interior. The chandeliers shine a little to highlight the string of lights, which are probably supposed to illuminate posters with alcohol. I would have liked more light. I guess I'm not the target group.

Food and service was top notch, highly recommend

The baked brie and mushrooms were delectable. Of the main plates I tried, the burger was the best. Highly recommended after a nice hike in the park.

This place used to be my usual place, but now the food and drinks just aren't that great.

I feel like I would have given 5 starts overall, but I have a pet peeve. Service, excellent. Atmosphere, super! Such a cosy, warm, and inviting place to have a meal. Especially after a long hike! However. I ordered the sweet potato and chickpea curry. It was delicious, but when I saw the size of the meal coming out, I was so disappointed. I really feel like vegan or vegetarian meals shouldn't be the same price as meals with meat and I feel even stronger about this when the size of the plate doesn't fill the hole in my back tooth 😅 It could really be served with more. More everything or a nice piece of naan on the side to fill the void! Apart from that, the other meals got great feedback.

Totally satisfied. Great traditional Irish Roasts. My whole party is sitting round complementing the experience.

We visit here at least twice a year and always enjoy our time there. Today was the first occasion that we felt the food and service was not up to par. My wifes chowder was perfect but her main lamb dish was very poor, the lamb was too dry and this wasnt helped by the tiny drop of rosemary jus that accompanied it. My chicken wings as the starter had to be the worst wings I've had in years and priced at €11.95 they really should have been better. Very small, some of the wings were mushy on the inside and only one drumstick in the lot. I had the steak for main which was a lot better and can have no complaints. The youg local guy that served us was brilliant and friendly, some of the other staff not so much. Not sure when we will be back.
