The Wicklow Heather in Laragh

Food was good. One member of staff wasn't great at all. They sat us at the emergency exit and we were told that we could close the door if we were cold. It was very windy and that member of staff kept opening the door saying it was too hot. It wasn't hot at all as the wind was cold and it wasn't ideal as we had a baby in our group. When we got the bill he counted the money in front of us, like he didn't trust us and it seemed very rude. I wouldn't come back.

Great food, not "just" pub food. Great atmosphere and very friendly service.

Visited here to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary with a hike up Camaderry and around the miners walk followed by dinner in this restaurant. The location is brilliant and the food and drinks were top class. We were able to stay with our camper van in the lower car park as we are in the restaurant and had a very peaceful nights rest after our celebrations. Well worth a visit.

Just arrive home for a few weeks and my brother Phillip brought us here. Food was great, had a variety of bits, the mackerel pate, garlic mushrooms, ciabatta and superfood salad… can’t fault any of them. Service was great and checked on us to make sure we had everything. Great place to call into if you’re in the area!!! No photos of food - too busy enjoying the atmosphere and the grub!!!

Excellent restaurant, we had a wonderful time. The food is very sophisticated, a perfect blend of typical Irish dishes revisited (in my opinion) with a French twist. The service was superb as well.

Wow!! I'd highly recommend dining here! The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The patio was genuinely relaxing and quaint. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. They had a wonderful list of offerings from the bar. We enjoyed our luncheon I would highly recommend you stop in!
