Thompson previously had a great craft beer experience which I was expecting again, this however is not there anymore which was disappointing. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and happy to help. Some drinks orders were missed and people left waiting, this was resolved quickly once notified. Wagyu Burger, Wings and Prawns were all great. Very much missed the lack of the old Microbrewery vibe and drinks options Thompsons used to have, the primary reason I went there.

Do not come here for steak. I ordered the filet med rare and I knew as soon as I saw it it was med well. Not much flavor. The cheesy cauliflower was ok. Staff was friendly.

Wonderful group experience Saturday night from initial booking online to payment. Staff were exceptionally good, efficient, nice people with great service.

The waygu beef burger, the fish and chips, and the chicken burger were excellent.. the orders came with a generous serving of fries that were perfect..With cokes all total was € 89.95..

Excellent steak. Very accommodating and friendly. Staff and chef went out of their way to accommodate an allergy. Highly recommend

Maravillosa comida y una buena elección en el menú la joven que nos sirvió era muy encantador y amable y nos hizo sentir tan bienvenidos estaría feliz de recomendar el único problema que tuvimos fue que yo no era un fan del queso de coliflor, era un poco crudo todavía y necesitaba una mejor cobertura de queso, pero aparte de que la comida era maravilloso y. El gran servicio que tuvimos de la persona que nos recibió en la puerta a quien era nuestra camarera fue maravilloso.

We are steak lovers and have paid high prices and eaten incredible steaks all over the UK but the food here was incredible! My husband had the T bone which he said was stunning and I had the fillet which was incredible. The sauces (red wine and peppercorn) were beautiful but the winner of the dish was the cauliflower cheese which was INSANE! The service was also second to none. Alex looked after us, Brian was an incredible manager but Gabi…just wow!!! She the epitome of excellent customer service and she was one of the reasons why we booked an evening meal after popping in for lunch. She made us feel like family. I have eaten at some incredible restaurants including the Ivy, London and I have to say this has been one of the best dining experiences of my life. If you’re coming to Cork, please visit !
