Excellent service from all the members of staff that we met even though they were extremely busy. They were friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was superb, we were lucky to be there on a Tuesday which offered a 15euro steak special, the meat was cooked to perfection, was delicious & the sides were really good. Good drink selection & very pleasant ambience. We would happily return if we have the opportunity.

Very strange experience in this establishment. Warmly welcomed by a bubbly waitress, my wife had the absolutely superb fish and chips, I went for sirloin with pepper sauce. Let my wife try the steak and her first comment was that it’s not very warm. I tried it with the sauce and it was more or less cold, sent the dish back(which I don’t like doing), it was returned in the exact same condition, possibly colder and by a different waiter. Not going to return for a second time I just ate the most of it…. I mentioned the issue to aforementioned bubbly waitress but didn’t seem to appreciate the feedback and then bizarrely more or less blanked us for the rest of the night. Food tasted great but make sure you don’t upset the increasingly empowered young members of the modern day service industry 😳😳😳

Gabby was our waitress and she made the whole night so much more special than we could have asked for. We were in, having a meal and few drinks to celebrate special news and a promotion. She went above and beyond to make our night special, she's an amazing waitress and a beautiful person! She deserves every bit of recognition!! Gourmet-quality food, splendid service and attention, very attentive, and very good customer service. We ordered from the menu, and I asked for a T-bone. At first, they told me it was only for dinner, but that I would ask the kitchen. They gave me the go-ahead, and I was able to enjoy a special steak. I've had better, but it was good. I give it a 7 out of 10.

Went in while it was quiet and it got busy while we were there but service didn’t decline one bit, our server Gabrielle was funny and attentive. Really knew her stuff! The croquettes were to die for. Absolutely fantastic!

Maravillosa comida y una buena elección en el menú la joven que nos sirvió era muy encantador y amable y nos hizo sentir tan bienvenidos estaría feliz de recomendar el único problema que tuvimos fue que yo no era un fan del queso de coliflor, era un poco crudo todavía y necesitaba una mejor cobertura de queso, pero aparte de que la comida era maravilloso y. El gran servicio que tuvimos de la persona que nos recibió en la puerta a quien era nuestra camarera fue maravilloso.

We are steak lovers and have paid high prices and eaten incredible steaks all over the UK but the food here was incredible! My husband had the T bone which he said was stunning and I had the fillet which was incredible. The sauces (red wine and peppercorn) were beautiful but the winner of the dish was the cauliflower cheese which was INSANE! The service was also second to none. Alex looked after us, Brian was an incredible manager but Gabi…just wow!!! She the epitome of excellent customer service and she was one of the reasons why we booked an evening meal after popping in for lunch. She made us feel like family. I have eaten at some incredible restaurants including the Ivy, London and I have to say this has been one of the best dining experiences of my life. If you’re coming to Cork, please visit !
