Thyme in Athlone

Wonderful staff, great food. Worth the visit.

Been wanting to visit this place for a while as I had many good recommendations. I was glad that I finally was near Athlone, and could make it happen. I love the ambiance! Tables apart enough so everyone has enough space and privacy! The service was fantastic, they couldn't do enough for us! Now, the food was delicious! The starters were so delicately composed. The presentation, the taste & texture were mastered to perfection! The meat was so tender both the lamb and the steak. Main came with delicious sides of seasonal vegetables & baked potatoes. Overall we had a great dinner at Thyme & I highly recommend to make a reservation of you are in the area!

Third time in thyme and the people behind it should be really proud . Great food for great value honestly really good cooking is one of the best restaurant in country . Had lobster and Guinea fowl for starters and Lamb with beef for dinner can’t fault anything super super nice and had a lovely evening there

An amazing experience. Lovely food, all tastefully presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed every morsel of our meal.
