Token in Dublin

I used to love it before but the new place is totally different - the bacon jam chips used to be amazing but these were all wet. No actual chicken only vegan nuggets which were super dry. Only ate a third of the food. Venue cold and too loud. You order and pay by QR code and when I asked for glass of water the waiter said I hadn't put that through on online system (he did go get it though).

Vegan bowl was very nice. The rest of the food was cheap and greasy, processed onion rings, frozen chips, very basic burger with just sauce, onion and cheese. Very expensive for what we got. And a lot of the options shown on the menu which was handed to us when we arrived weren't available via the QR order system. A couple of the machines didn't work properly, karaoke mics were also broken. Ladies toilets very dirty,and puddles of water in the cubicles being mopped by the staff with a very dirty mop which had been sitting in the corner. The restaurant area was also very cold. Not a great experience.

Best place to enjoy your whole night. Specially when Paula and Shae are working, they make your night really really special! Love u guys ❤️❤️

It was great. Food and service was brilliant. It would be nice if they fixed some of the broken machines though. Would definitely recommend 👍

The blue haired girl working was really nice and helpful! Made my visit quite pleasant, a bit crowded but other than that had a great time with the arcade games.

I'm going to try be the fairest i can with this review since the place will have issues to begin with and it's newly opened again, but honestly the experience wasn't great and I don't normally write reviews but I feel the need to on this occasion First off i booked the table and upon arrivall; the table was not set at all, i'm not expecting 5 star service but I feel like that's basic, at one point I went to the bathroom and oh my god, 2 of the stalls were out of order with one of them just have the seat ripped off and on the floor, I understand this isn't the fault of staff but seriously it could of been sorted before opening, the floor was also like a slip and slide which I nearly tripped on. Then we got our food, I mean serving food on a gastro flat is a strange one to begin with but it's bar food so it's okay, I will give credit i ordered the smash burger and fries and it was class, the food overall as a chef myself I was impressed with, however the service was shocking. We had to go up and get our cutlery and napkins, and not one person came over to check on us if we needed anything, my drink took a good 10 mins to come after the food. Also the menues were not taken off the table and people came to give drinks and we left our empty plates to the side for them and they just didn't bother taking them Next we explored the arcade, and I will say the general atmosphere i did like, i was a big fan of the original token and I think they nailed it, it was busy so I feel there wasn't much they could do about it, but the layout does not support for large crowds. The machines were great and definitely serviced better than the original token, what i did find strange was the layout of the kitchen to the main floor, why have people walking out with food right next to crowds of people playing pinball, i constantly felt like i was in the way. The one experience I had that really got to me was when I went to order at the bar, 20 mins to be seen and it wasn't even crazy packed at the bar is mental, i ordered one of their cocktails, 10 mins later i'm told they don't have it, so I was given another one. Overall, I do feel like this can all be ironed out, and it is a result of just a busy place newly opened, i'm not writing to slander, just to offer my experience so it can be used to improve service

Worth a 1 time visit. Had never been, said as much to the 1st person in the door and she was more worried about her table availability for food than trying to let us know how the place operated. I expected more arcade machines and portion of them seem to be off. Bartenders could only handle 1 order at a time, needs a more seasoned bartender running the bar. Needs a machine for the tokens as it slows the bar down. Food part either need to be fully separate or fully integrated. Layout was a bit messy as well. Very loud. Hopefully it can be finetuned and improved.

Super nice staffs and a great atmosphere. The app ordering system was very efficient, and the food/drinks come to the table really fast! I loved how quickly they replied to my table reservation (it was confirmed the same day). Honestly, no negative comments at all. Highly recommend this place!
