Breakfast 😋👏👏Service excellent. Observed staff asking customers waiting for table to step inside and took orders whilst waiting for tables to clear. Food freshly cooked and delivered promptly to table. Reasonably priced..will DEFINITELY return 🙏🤞💚

Incredible service from the ladies at Tony's Bistro. Great fry up breakfast for everyone in our group with some tasty pancakes/waffles that our vegatarian friends opted for. Brilliant last stop for food on the last day of our trip to Cork City.

A monster of a breakfast at affordable prices €21 for the lot included a large pot of tea. Bread and toast. Sides of jams and a large fresh glass of apple juice. Served and presented with pride waitress or the member of staff delivering breakfast was very kind. The que was out the door in the covered shelter yet for a full restaurant the wait was only ten minutes. Fantastic service. As well as breakfast there is dinners and lots more to chose from. From my pictures you can see U went for the sausages eggs beans rashers pudding, was kind enough to replace the mushrooms with an other item and fair play with the portion sizes a meal like that would keep ya going for two days. Great quirky menu, great place to visit. Highly recommend one of the main last survivors for a hearty breakfast in Cork. Still open and doing well and you can tell why, because it is customer service at its best.

Perfect place, 10 min walk from the bus station and definitely worth the walk. Excellent food, served quickly and plenty of it. Anybody on a UK extreme day trip, its a must. We had a pint at the Welcome Inn at 0730 and then Tonys opens at 0830. Perfect start to the day....

The Spitjack, menu

24/03/2026: A HEARTY breakfast joint, you won't leave with any room left in your tummy. We had the Brekkie Bap and Divorced Eggs and recommend both, though the Divorced Eggs took the cake for most original and delicious. A bright and lively spot for breakfast or lunch, we'd happily return.
22/03/2026: Very LOUD upstairs, difficult to hear

The Elm Tree

25/02/2026: Been away for a few months. Popped into the elm tree for Sunday lunch. Just as good as all ways, still good value, food still great except the roast potatoes, just too crispy.
18/02/2026: You cannot fault the food but we were in on a busy night and it was over and hour and 20 for dinner to come out. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I think it's too many covers for the size of the kitchen. Saying that the food is worth a wait just not that long. Everyone really enjoyed their food.
