We absolutely loved our time at Trieste! Barry, the owner, was so friendly and emitted passion for his bar. From his charcuterie boards to vast collection of wines, he definitely made it a night we couldn’t forget. Definitely come by if you’re in Galway!

Being meaning to try here for a long time, never got around to it. But got surprised with a delivery box gift. Even from the personalised message on the box was lovely but the presentation of meats, cheeses, crackers etc.. was lovely you could see and smell the freshness 👌 it has left an appetite for more and a definite visit to sit in the restaurant soon 👌🙏

Qué gran lugar para cenar. Barry, eres un tesoro. Tanto mi marido y yo cenamos en esta maravillosa cafetería y bar de vinos esta noche y disfrutamos totalmente de nuestra comida, el vino, el ambiente, toda la experiencia. Un excelente lugar para disfrutar de una noche / tarde

Esto es una joya de un lugar. Mi hija y yo tomamos vino y queso después de ir de compras el sábado 21 de diciembre calle. El propietario era muy acogedor. La tabla de vino y queso tenía porciones muy generosas. Tuvimos una noche encantadora. Gracias.

19/03/2025: Brilliant food, amazing staff and a nice vibe, food is just out of this world, can recommend the Mai Chixuan, drunken noodles, udon noodles, the duck was AMAZING, the starter grilled chicken salad was gorgeous. Definitely top 3 reasons to come to galway. Fully booked when we got there, but waited maybe 10 mins and was worth it.
19/03/2025: AMAZING PLACE TOP 5 PLACES IVE EVER EATEN IN AND PROBABLY TOP 3 ASIAN CUISINES 😍😍😍 staff are SOOOO LOVELY and accomodating and the FOOD omg, ive been here many times and EVERY MEAL HAS BEEN 10/10. my fav asian restaurant in all of galway. 1st pic was a STARTERS… u get SUCH A GOOD AMOUNT OF FOOD FOR WHAT u pay for!!!! omg the food was to die for. 2nd pic was japanese udon noodles dish. it was 12/10 im telling you. PERFECT PLACE!!!!!

Ard Bia at Nimmos

15/03/2025: We wanted to end our month long UK holiday, with a special meal and boy, did we choose well. Nestled in a beautiful character building, close to the Spanish Arch Ard Bia was a wonderful dining experience. We booked for dinner and were shown to our table upstairs. The ambiance was relaxed and romantic. All our dishes (predominately fish) were so tasty, it was a pity to finish them. The bisque with one of them, was "slurp-worthy". My dessert (lemon tart), could have had a dollop of lemon curd, for those of us , who like a good hit of lemon. Overall, food, service and ambiance - were top notch.
