Trieste Café & Wine Bar in Galway

Good wine café with helpful suggestions from the owner and tasty wine. I sat outside and had a wonderful time waiting for my train ride. The wine (Vinho Verde) I had was very tasty. Lovely location, but a bit small so do reserve in advance. Was so at peace i forgot to make a photo!

You must visit this place! Barry is the best host - attentive and friendly and with great recommendations. The cheese board for 2 and range of cheeses on offer are a great alternative dinner out and surprisingly filling.

A huge part of what made the experience so memorable was the owner, Barry. He was incredibly welcoming and full of knowledge about wines and cheeses from all over. He took the time to chat with us, make recommendations, and share fascinating stories behind the selections. His passion for what he does truly shines through. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for a cozy, high-quality spot to relax and indulge, this place ticks all the boxes. We’ll definitely be back!

Ubicado en los bordes del Barrio Latino, este era el lugar que necesitábamos cuando estábamos hartos de la calle Quay. Era tranquilo, era cuantioso, tenía buenos vinos, grandes quesos, y carnes sabrosas y un servicio muy amable. El tiempo era genial, así que aprovechamos su asiento al aire libre y no podíamos haber pedido nada mejor que la noche que tuvimos.

Un lugar tan acogedor para tomar una copa de vino y charcutería! Barry es un anfitrión maravilloso! Nos encantó aquí y recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar cuando visite Galway!
