Trieste Café & Wine Bar in Galway

One of the nicest dining experiences we've tried, the owner creates an outstanding environment with impeccable service and the wine and cheese pairings and homemade fresh bread straight out of the oven is all perfect. 5/5 would highly recommend

Trieste is an absolute must in Galway, not only is the wine and cheese selection to die for, Barry the host makes the whole experience so amazing. The music in there is vibey, food delicious and wine top notch. We were celebrating getting our engagement ring and Barry even gave me a mini bottle of Moet heading off 😍 his attention to detail makes this gem of a place one of my favourite places to eat. Cannot say enough good things about Trieste. I am already planning 2 Xmas nights out here ☺️

One of the most enjoyable dining experiences I've had! Barry was so friendly and knowledgeable, the presentation of the cheeseboard was incredible and the flavours were next level! I will 100% be returning!

Fabulous restaurant, food was delicious and service was excellent. They even gave a little birthday plate for our friend which was a lovely gesture.

This was our first dinner in Ireland, between the travel and our late afternoon nap we weren’t super hungry so this was the perfect spot. This is a very cozy (4-5 table) wine & cheese bar. Barry, the owner, was so lovely and friendly that i was worried the rest of the trip wouldn’t be good in comparison. Everything we had was delicious, especially some of the dessert plate items. If I lived in Galway I’d be a regular. Also bonus for Americans - we were served a carafe of ice water without even asking! Barry is truly the best

Absolute 5 star experience! From the food, the wine, the location, the ambiance to the staff! Cannot recommend this place enough. Will definitely be back and already planning what friends to bring for another unforgettable evening in this magical establishment.

Amazing experience. If you’re ever in Galway, I highly recommend you visit this place. Hidden gem of the busy streets. The couple who owns the place are fabulous, so kind and gentle and know their craft. The bread was freshly baked. The cheese was delicious. Great selection of wines.

My daughter and I stopped here for a glass of wine and called later after a disappointing meal. We then shared some delicious cheese and bread. We would definitely return here. The menu has a great choice.
