Had a lovely dinner here today with my family. Food was fantastic. Got up to get dessert and coffee and there was a queue and a lovely girl took our order from the table which was really kind. Definitely come again

We had a lovely roast today, there was a waitress with blonde hair who was quite literally just so lovely💖 food was fab

Lovely veg, and spuds with no butter added - that's hard to find. Vegan or/and gluten free options are scarce on the menu, but ask and the lovely chef will sort you out.

A Wonderful Return to Ruby's This was my first visit to the venue since its reopening as Ruby's. It was previously known as the Uluru, a name that didn't enjoy very good public reviews. The new name, Ruby's, is a name to the well-known city center nightclub that once held the same name. Upon arrival, a friendly member of staff greeted us and immediately provided menus for our group. The service was rapid and prompt. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and when it arrived, it was piping hot, straight from the kitchen. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and quite relaxing. My group and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the venue, and we've already decided to return. As a regular food reviewer, I never mince words when describing my experiences. I can confidently say that Ruby's is doing everything right! I would place it at the high end of worthwhile restaurant bars to visit with friends and family. You can be assured you won't be disappointed; you'll indulge in a fantastic, varied menu with food prepared to a high standard. Every forkful will tantalise your senses and leave you longing for more.

Lovely spot, great staff. Excellent for having parties. It needs a vegan option so I wouldn't come to eat here. On request it does offer a vegan platter for parties but sadly no vegan option any other time.

Went for carvery Sunday dinner, between us we had roast beef or roast lamb, which was cook perfectly, plenty of veg with it. Deserts a little on small side bust taste was good. Will go back
