Nice place and good south indian food

Everything was delicious, the food was fresh and very well prepared, and the service was excellent.

This was absolutely delicious. We aren't exactly sure what we ordered (tandoori chicken masala or chicken tikka masala and the vegetable something) but it was just SO good. The music was very calming, they lit a candle for us, and the waiter was great. We didn't have to wait to be seated, and were served an appetizer and water right away. The main course arrived about 15 minutes after ordering.

Truly amazing food, highly recommend the chicken butter (tourist friendly), Aloo Keema and chicken Biryani. Careful accepting sides because they are charged extra. This would’ve been 5 stars, but we waited 30-40 minutes for the food to arrive.

Usmania Indian Restaurant exceeded every expectation and delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment you walk in, the warm aromas and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for an exceptional meal. We started with the Chicken Pakora, which was a perfect introduction to the meal. The pieces were crisp on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned beautifully light enough to enjoy as a starter but flavorful enough to set the bar high for the courses to come. The Lamb Dhanshak was an absolute standout. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the balance of sweet, sour, and mildly spicy flavors in the lentil based sauce was masterful. It’s the kind of dish that quietly becomes your new favorite rich, comforting, and layered with depth. Equally impressive was the Chicken Tikka Masala. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with that signature smoky tandoori flavor coming through beautifully. The sauce was silky, vibrant, and just the right amount of indulgent. Paired with their fresh naan, it was impossible to stop eating. The service was warm and attentive without ever feeling rushed, and the menu offers a superb mix of traditional favorites and unique specialties. Whether you’re a longtime lover of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Usmania delivers authenticity, quality, and flavor in every bite. Highly recommended this is a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

Good quality food, fresh spices make all the difference. Pleasant and friendly staff. Portions might be slightly bigger though.
