This was our first time dining here, and we absolutely loved it! We started with the scallops, followed by the cod for our main course, and finished with the tiramisu for dessert. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The service was outstanding—special thanks to Gavin, who took exceptional care of us throughout the evening. We can’t wait to come back. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

My family had an incredible meal here while in Lahinch. As mentioned by several other reviews, the fish and chips is some of the best in Ireland. The real highlight was the staff though! The service was wonderful, particularly David who was so friendly and engaging!

Popped in for dinner entirely by accident and were very pleasantly suprised. Quality of all the food was exceptional. (Couldn't get over the mash potatoes for a long time) While the prices were completely average. The views are definitely nice as well, however we came when it was dark and still had a lovely time. The atmosphere was lovely. The service was friendly and inviting. There was no long wait. Would definitely recommend for good food by the sea. 🌊🍴

21/05/2025: Friendly and central hotel in Lahinch with great value for money. The staff organised overnight storage for my bike, even carrying it in and out! Room was perfect and excellent breakfast with full Irish options, including vegetarian version. Lots of options nearby for food and the beautiful beach to enjoy the sunset!
14/03/2025: Come for dinner while over visiting family. Really friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Great food, I had fish and chips. The match was on the telly which was great. Service is fast and they are really attentive. Highly recommend

03/07/2025: County Clare is one of the most fascinating places in Ireland. Unique cliffs, castles straight out of medieval movies, caves and landscapes that are nothing short of fantastic. In the midst of all these wonders when you plan a trip to these parts I strongly recommend you consider a lunch stop in Lahinch at Spooney's. In this place you will find delicious Fish & Chips for little money. Get it to take away and move to Lahinch beach which is located immediately behind the place where you can sit comfortably on the masi that border it. The taste of the food and the beauty of the ocean will regenerate you in spirit and body.
