Vittos in Carrick-on-shannon

A very nice place, warm an hommy, located at very short distance from the marina (where we rent a boat) we were with children and soon as we sat down, the waitress gave the kids crayons and papers so the can get themselves bussy while we making the order. We ordered from the vegan/vegetarian menu, pizzas, salad and pasta which all were just fantastic, nicely served and very generous . I recommend this place if you happen to be there! We traveled there during mid of September 2025

Booked early in the day for the night sitting for six people visiting Carrick on Shannon. Had a guest along who needed access assistance. The manager Dijon who took the booking, had spotted our arrival outside and promptly provided assistance and a table close by. A very enjoyable evening from start to finish, very well looked after and food/drink delicious. Highly recommended.

Always great food, great drinks and great service in Vittos. Recommend to book a table in advance as it's very busy at the weekends.

The Carbonara was so good, as was the Texas Pizza. Highly recommend this place. The only downfall i experienced was when the server asked if I wanted "chips" to share at the table. Being from the US when sometimes bread is brought out to share at the Italian table, I misunderstood, therefore it cost me 5€. I should have asked questions, plus I didn't know he meant French fries.

Great food, friendly staff, high recommended

The food was really nice but unfortunately the service, not so much. When we were finally seated we waited that long to give an order we were just about to leave. I have read a few reviews saying the food was bad, we were lucky enough it was good but a long wait and being ignored by staff just ruins the experience

Always go here for a pizza when in Carrick-on-Shannon. Lovely food and lovely staff. Put it on your list if visiting Carrick. You won’t leave disappointed.

Yea, really tried to like this place, I certainly liked what I sat decor wise, staff whilst looking efficient did not appear well trained. That said they were friendly in that detached way that's OK. Food was 50/50. I had beef stroganoff, was not very origional or tasty. The others in the party were pleases with their offerings. Desserts, whilst tasty are bought in (not a criticism) Floor was dirty around our table following a previous visit
