One of the best sushi places I've been to. That includes some sushi places in Japan. The sushi is freshly made on the spot and tastes amazing. It's small and cosy and the staff is very friendly

Absolute gem. Hand made sushi right in front of you. Excellent quality. Get the fried vegetables for appetizer. Had the salmon sushi combo, excellent. Miso ice cream and caramel dessert. 💀 Small intimate place, seats three small tables and seven at the bar. We had a party of five so we made a same day reservation without a problem, on a Monday, sat at the bar. Great meal.

Just a marvelous server and wonderful food! Highly recommend the sake flight and we destroyed the big platter which was perfect for a family of four. It's very small and super charming, so make sure to book!

So glad we were lucky to get a space walking in because the experience was amazing. The host gave excellent advice on a sake choice. The food was excellent, and very good value. The service was above and beyond as we got some great pub recommendations. A five star experience!

If you are in Galway and you like sushi, Wa Sushi is a must visit! Quality, presentation, all top notch. Only two sushi restaurants in Galway and this is the one to visit.

Patty was the most incredible sushi chef that I have ever seen! I eat a lot of sushi. OMG ordinarily I do not do dessert but his Sake infused, deconstructed cheese cake was delicious AND beautiful. I wish that he had a transporter so I could just pop in whenever I wanted.

21/12/2024: Myself and one of my friends had the teriyaki chicken don and it tasted so good. The chicken was marinated and the rice mixed with the sauce was heavenly and a great mix of savoury and sweet. The egg was chopped up very finely and had a soft texture and the green beans had a very refreshing flavour and I think it was blanched so it had a very refreshing crunch to it! Some of the juices sunk down to the bottom of the bowl and it was such a sweet and delicious flavour. I would say we waited quite a while but there was only one cook when we went so it made sense. The inside is decorated really well and the atmosphere felt really welcoming. My other friend had the tempura sushi roll and miso soup and she really enjoyed it. Price wise, you are definitely getting more than what you paid for. I've paid more in other restaurants for less amounts of food. I paid €18 for the teriyaki chicken don and I would definitely say I got my money's worth. The wait was like 40 minutes for 3 people and it was quite empty, so if you are on a tight schedule you might not want to go, but I personally don't mind waiting 40 minutes for a meal. 10/10 I would really recommend to go and I'm definitely going again!! 🤤🤤🙏🙏
