Waterford Marina Hotel in Waterford

During my time living right in front of the Waterford Marina Hotel, both before and after Covid, their restaurant became a place of comfort and delight for me. Though I never stayed in the hotel itself, I found myself returning to Elva time and time again, especially on the days when I didn’t feel like cooking. It wasn’t just about convenience—it was about the experience. The food was always outstanding, crafted with care and presented beautifully. Every meal felt like a small indulgence, a quiet moment of joy in the midst of daily life. But what truly made Elva special was the atmosphere. There was a deep sense of tranquility there, a kind of peacefulness that made it the perfect place to unwind. Whether I was sitting alone, savoring a meal, or sharing the space with others, I always felt welcome. And then, of course, there was the staff. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, they had a way of making every visit feel personal. I never once had to ask for anything—they anticipated needs before they even arose, always proactive, always professional. But beyond their efficiency, they were simply lovely people, ready to chat, to share a smile, or to offer a moment of connection that made the experience all the more special. If I ever find myself back in Waterford, I know without a doubt that I’ll be returning to the restaurant of Marina. Not just for the food, but for the warmth, the familiarity, and the feeling of being somewhere that truly cares about its guests.

Adorable hotel in a great location. Rooms were okay, refurbished and comfortable. The best part of the stay was the staff at the bar. Highly recommend !

Really lovely hotel, modern interior and nice and warm. Staff were all lovely. Had a meal in the hotel restaurant which was delicious and some drinks from the cocktail menu. Breakfast was a good, buffet style.

Delicious food both on Xmas menu and a la carte. The service was excellent, specially from Chris who was looking after our Xmas party night and another young man last night who looked after our birrhday party table and made sure everything is spot on. Thank you

The view of the river from this hotel is absolutely magnificent. The calm and serenity that emanates from this place are particularly appreciable. The peaceful atmosphere invites relaxation and contemplation. We perceive a real harmony between the architecture of the hotel and the surrounding landscape. It is an ideal place to recharge your batteries and enjoy a moment of tranquility. on the river

Myself and my husband stayed here recently and loved our stay.The room was warm and clean and lovely view of the river.Staff were friendly and very helpful and food was lovely. We will definitely stay here again.

Very good and nice.Just what we expected. Best buffet breakfast I have had for years.They even had white pudding.Amazingly perfect fried eggs aswell.

I stay here when visiting my consultant in Waterford The food is excellent with a good variety , Rooms are comfrtable and good size since it has b een upgraded the rooms are decorated to very high standard
