Waterford Marina Hotel in Waterford

10/10 experience. Walking distance from the Anderson’s Quay bus station (highly recommend Kavanaugh coach). Private and quiet location off the main street. Open your window to enjoy the birds in the morning. Friendly, fast welcome at check in. Tidy and unfussy room was very comfortable and spacious. Shower water pressure was next-level. Biscuits and tea was a lovely finish to a long day. Close walk to dining options. Royal Wok is delicious and right around the corner. Endless shops and High Street close by. So perfect, can’t wait to be back.

Staff from the front desk to the bar were fantastic! Helpful and funny. Room was so cosy and well put together. Only stayed one night but the food was delightful!

Toilets are ridiculously small, there was a poor lady trying to maneuver the toilets whilst on crutches

Super hotel, well laid out, food was amazing. Hotel was very clean and bright and the staff were great.

My only regret is that, due to personal reasons, I wasn't able to try the breakfast. Otherwise, it's a beautiful hotel, well-located on the riverbank with a beautiful view, just steps from the Viking Tower. The room is stylishly furnished and the bathroom has a walk-in shower and quality soaps. There's no air conditioning, but I felt it was needed, as was the mini-fridge. The housekeeping service was good. The reception staff is always present and helpful. The value for money is also good.

The hotel is absolutely perfect for a trip to waterford, the rooms are very clean, as is the lobby and reception. The food in the bar is lovely, we had the thai curry and beef stew, the location of the bar and restaurant is lovely as they overlook the water. The staff at reception and the restaurant are very friendly, which makes all the difference. The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes walking to the town with shops, bars, restaurants etc.

A lovely hotel. Spotless clean. A good range of breakfast. Gluten free also for those who need it. Great location minutes walk from museums and shopping area. Lovely views of the river
