A beautiful little gem of a place, arrived with a friend on a gorgeous day so we decided to sit in the little side courtyard which was like arriving in Tuscany. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service and absolutely delicious food. Will definitely return.

The loveliest cafe for miles around. Fantastic food, lovely surroundings and the nicest staff in the world. Great place to bring kids, so accommodating. We love a walk in the park and then in for some lunch, coffee and bun

Abbey Hotel Roscommon

14/05/2025: Great day for my daughter's communion and having dinner and drinks with family. Rooms are dated, and their could have been more outdoor seating. Maybe pergola area.
13/05/2025: As the hotel is old, you can expect many "attractions" related to it. Unfortunately, there are many issues that are purely organizational, such as a kettle set connected to nowhere. The hotel has ****, but only because of the state of ownership of the swimming pool, which is very neglected. In the swimming pool changing room with 4 showers, there was no soap in any cabin. The state of cleanliness in the changing room leaves much to be desired, as does the steam sauna or swimming pool hall.
