Very first time that I’ve given a time slot to drink a coffee sitting in.
When I arrived the lady at the desk was so unfriendly and she seemed not very happy I was looking to sit in to have a coffee and a croissant.
I was really surprised to be told I had around 40 minutes to drink my coffee cause she was gonna need the table.
It wasn’t a personal situation, the next customers were also given a time slot.
Like I’ve traveled all around the world and had never asked to leave after a certain time. It’s feels so business like.
But her attitude was stinky. The young girls were nice. Coffee isn’t that great, average espresso, croissants was ok, small but it was fine.

Located in the heart of town, Restaurant West Street is a hidden gem, blending an inviting atmosphere with a menu that showcases classic and contemporary dishes. It's no surprise that the restaurant has garnered a loyal following, and with good reason: the food is consistently delicious, and the ambiance makes it a great spot for both casual and special occasions. However, one key thing to know before visiting is that you'll want to make a reservation. While this is common in many popular spots, it’s particularly relevant here since West Street's popularity can lead to a wait for walk-ins.
Upon entering, the welcoming interior of West Street impresses right away. The lighting is soft but effective, creating a warm, cozy ambiance that feels both relaxed and sophisticated. The tables are set elegantly but without excessive formality, making it a place where you feel comfortable whether you're dressed up for a night out or coming in more casually. The seating layout also feels thoughtfully arranged, with enough space between tables for private conversations without feeling too isolated.
Now to the food: West Street's menu offers a well-curated selection of dishes, each prepared with an evident attention to detail. Starters range from lighter salads to more decadent appetizers like creamy burrata or delicately seared scallops. Mains cover a variety of tastes—from perfectly grilled steaks to fresh seafood, each prepared with flavor-forward ingredients. The chefs clearly take pride in their work, and it shows in both presentation and taste. Many patrons rave about the braised lamb shank, a dish so tender it practically melts off the bone, and the house-made pasta, which features seasonal ingredients and pairs beautifully with the wine selection.
Speaking of wine, the list at West Street is another highlight. Their sommeliers have curated an impressive collection, focusing on both local favorites and international options. If you're unsure about what pairs best with your meal, the staff are well-versed in guiding you to the right choice.
Service at West Street is friendly and attentive, and the staff are knowledgeable about the menu, happy to answer questions and accommodate dietary needs when possible. One thing to note, though, is that the place does get busy—especially on weekends. It's worth taking the time to make a reservation, as walk-ins might experience a longer wait during peak hours.
In summary, West Street is a top-notch restaurant with a beautiful setting, fantastic food, and great service. Just be sure to book a table in advance, especially if you're planning to dine during busier times.
