Whartons fish & chips in Bantry legal town

Fresh and delicious! Well worth the price, loved it. Don’t be put off by the price or the wait, well worth the money and the wait is because it’s all cooked fresh

I had fish and chips.....wife had the chicken wrap.and chips.....wife was very happy with her meal......but....the fish was soggy....(fish could be left to drain for a minute or two)...mostly batter...over priced...chips were just beautiful...overall........................disappointed with the fish...I felt for the little bit of fish in a lot of batter...it was overpriced.

Fresh chips but some were hard as rocks. The first chicken goujons was really good, good chicken with crispy batter. The batter on the rest was under done, soft and ugly. Not a great deal of meat with the taco chips. Cooking oil was past it's best. Place was spotless and the girls were pleasant and working hard. €30 for goujons and chips, taco chips, battered sausage and 2 cans was a bit rich too.

Absolutely the best fish and chips ever.... always good. Never been dissapointed. Ladies always obliging and friendly.

We had fresh fish & chips. In my opinion, the taste of the fish wasn't as intense as you would expect from fresh fish. The fries were ok. The price of €16 is okay for Ireland.

No service. Price performance not good. Unfortunately, fish & chips has no taste. However, the food is very fresh.

I go here regularly even though it's not the nearest chipper for me because it's simply the best that I've had in Cork. Chips are fresh cut and the fish is moist and fresh with excellent batter.

Beautiful fish and chips , massive portions. Slightly expensive but worth it .
