Nice but the tomato soup was like water and was lukewarm. It costs €7.50

Food was lovely. Place was a little cold inside. And the stairs to the seating area where a bit of a challenge for my elderly parents. Staff are nice.

I honestly think Willow & Wild is the nicest place for breakfast or brunch in Maynooth, hands down. The blueberry, mascarpone & lemon curd pancakes were incredible — probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The balance of flavours and the quality were just spot on. I’ve also had the full breakfast, and surprisingly the beans were the standout for me — really rich and slightly sweet, whatever they do to them works! I’ve sampled the avocado smash too and it was equally delicious. The service is consistently excellent — genuinely friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. It’s always busy, which says a lot, and there’s a really nice selection of treats displayed in the window. Highly recommend.

Roost

09/05/2026: I had a small group party in there, pints, food, atmosphere was amazing. But the best part of all are the staff! God, they are marvellous friendly, love them all! Clayton
01/05/2026: I had a delicious grilled chicken (17 euro) from the new menu, highly recommended, and also a soup (6 euros) always good.

Brady's

17/04/2026: Nice old style pub in Maynooth, Co Kildare, R.O.I
09/04/2026: 🍻 Review of Brady’s Maynooth I recently spent some time in Brady’s in Maynooth, and I have to say it was a genuinely great experience that really captures everything you’d want from a proper Irish pub, because from the moment you walk in there’s an immediate sense of warmth and character that makes you feel welcome, with a lively but relaxed atmosphere that strikes a perfect balance between being energetic and comfortable, making it an ideal spot whether you’re meeting friends for a few drinks, heading out for the night, or just looking for somewhere to unwind after a long day, and one of the first things that stood out to me was how well the place is laid out, with plenty of space to sit and chat but still maintaining that cosy, traditional pub feel that gives it real personality, and as the evening goes on the atmosphere really comes alive, especially when it gets busier, creating that classic buzz that makes nights out more enjoyable without ever feeling overwhelming, and the drinks selection is exactly what you’d hope for, with a good range of beers, spirits, and everything in between, all served quickly and efficiently even when the place is busy, which makes a big difference in keeping the experience smooth and enjoyable, and the staff were another highlight for me, as they were friendly, approachable, and clearly used to dealing with a busy crowd, handling everything with ease while still making people feel welcome, which really adds to the overall vibe of the place and makes you want to stay longer, and what I also appreciated was how Brady’s manages to cater to a wide mix of people, from students to locals, creating a really inclusive and social environment where everyone feels like they belong, which is something not every pub gets right, and if you’re there on a night with music or a bit of extra energy in the place, it really elevates the experience even further, giving it that lively, memorable feel that makes a night out stand out, and overall what really stuck with me was how easy it was to just relax and enjoy the atmosphere without overthinking anything, it’s the kind of place where you can settle in, have a few drinks, chat with friends, and just enjoy the moment, and by the end of the night I could confidently say I had a great experience, one that I’d happily repeat again, and I’d definitely recommend Brady’s to anyone in Maynooth looking for a welcoming, lively, and genuinely enjoyable pub.
