Over staffed with poorly trained staff. All cutlery was man handled, glasses were delivered by the rim, delays in bringing coffees with desert was a pain. Food was ok, roast beef without roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding is just criminal.

My husband and I visited The Abbey back in August while staying in Ennis. The food was fantastic, and the service was even better. The staff was very friendly and even allowed us to stay after hours as we had started eating quit late. We definitely recommend and would be thrilled to go again while in Ennis.

Nice space. The service was great. I ordered a carbonara and it was delicious and a large portion. My sister ordered a sandwich and said she really liked it. The salad that came and the garlic sauce were very good.

Sherwood Inn

21/10/2024: Had a beautiful meal here today.. Lovely lady serves us and my god did she know how do her profession.. Highly recommend this place and we should have got the Ladies name. Toilets were clean which is always a good sign..
27/08/2024: What can I say. A visit to Ennis wouldn't be the same without a visit to Sherwoods. Great service, friendly atmosphere, good food, big portions. Always guaranteed a great meal, thats why so many people visit there again and again. Well done everyone, keep it the same. Hope to visit again on my next trip to Ireland.
