17/04/2025: I absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh absolutely delicious. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming; you can really feel the care they put into both the food and the atmosphere. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!

30/03/2025: Got food delivered from this restaurant only to find after plating up our food that it had multiple long womans hairs a lot of hair not just 1 or 2 this was a lot of hair absolutely disgusting how any one would think this is acceptable. straight into the bin . Refund pending .sorry now there's no lies why would I have ordered food and put hair in it something happened to our food why would I have rang putting in a complaint send ye a video of the food and leave a review if the food was perfect ?? Why didn't ye offer us new food and collect the contaminated hair food ? Don't worry I won't ever be ordering food from ye again disgusting and not a bit impressed even with yer inconsiderate reply. Regular costumers of soba blackpool and never any issues with the food or costumer service.

I think that the pictures speak for themselves.
This place serves delicious and generous-size portions of food.
The atmosphere is good, the music changes frequently between rock/metal genres to a more "jazzy/relaxing" playlist, making it slightly strange.
The service is impeccable - friendly, and helpful.

14/01/2024: Kubos closed towards the end of 2023 with zero notice to their loyal customers when they shut their doors - either in store, on social media, or online. They eventually put a sheet of A4 paper on their window to say that the establishment was undergoing refurbished and will be open again soon. Shocked to see its now gone and another generic taco chain has opened in its place. Horribly disappointing professionalism by the owner of Kubos on the run up to their exit from Douglas after all these years

26/01/2025: Era una orden de Deliveroo. Tortitas de pato: las tortitas están crudas sin sugerencia de que necesiten cocción.
Las costillas de sal y pimienta están secas y exageradas.
Desperdicio total de dinero.
12/12/2024: Tuvimos una gran celebración de cumpleaños en Mak.
Fue muy sencillo llegar aquí en la línea de tranvía rojo y luego unos minutos a pie.
Una de nuestras fiestas tiene celíaco, así que los cuatro seleccionamos comida del menú de celíacos que luego compartimos. Todo estaba delicioso y las porciones eran generosas.
El restaurante estaba ocupado un sábado por la noche y nos cuidaron bien.
Tuvimos una buena sorpresa cuando me dieron un postre inesperado de cumpleaños.
Ojalá tuviéramos un restaurante como Mak en Londres.

09/05/2025: At 65y , I have had many Chicken Curries, but, Asia Gourmet is the best.
My Husband had House Special in Oyster Sauce and the selection of perfect meat was unreal. Well done 👏
