14/10/2025: My partner and I visited in August. The food was delicious, and the server was friendly and very patient with our jet-lag addled brains.
13/10/2025: Tried Koto, an Asian fusion spot, and really enjoyed it! I got the popcorn tofu for the appetizer and the kabocha for the main- both were delicious, but the kabocha especially stood out. It’s the kind of dish that feels comforting and satisfying without being too heavy. 🍜
Definitely planning to come back again—there are so many more options on the menu, and if these dishes are anything to go by, I’m sure it won’t disappoint.

25/10/2025: Me and my family were really dissapointed by the pork soup yesterday. I used to go frequently and was super excited to try the soup after veing months abroad. The soup was tasteless...not sure if I'll go back.
14/08/2025: The takeaway was tasteless and rubbery, and nowhere near as good as it used to be. It ended up in the bin. I would not recommend it.

24/08/2025: First time calling in here , Got a curry and a noodle dish , both with beef , but the beef in both dishes was so tough , and diced so small , we actually couldn't eat it , won't be back unfortunately.

14/01/2024: Kubos closed towards the end of 2023 with zero notice to their loyal customers when they shut their doors - either in store, on social media, or online. They eventually put a sheet of A4 paper on their window to say that the establishment was undergoing refurbished and will be open again soon. Shocked to see its now gone and another generic taco chain has opened in its place. Horribly disappointing professionalism by the owner of Kubos on the run up to their exit from Douglas after all these years
26/11/2023: Worst grub in Douglas, honestly can’t understand how they’re still open for all these years, Thai food that doesn’t get justice, avoid

20/04/2025: Pedido szechuan de ternera y albóndigas a través de comida para llevar. La comida era increíble. Lleno de sabor y muy fresco. Gran calidad. Sin duda volveré a pedir.
26/01/2025: Era una orden de Deliveroo. Tortitas de pato: las tortitas están crudas sin sugerencia de que necesiten cocción.
Las costillas de sal y pimienta están secas y exageradas.
Desperdicio total de dinero.

09/05/2025: At 65y , I have had many Chicken Curries, but, Asia Gourmet is the best.
My Husband had House Special in Oyster Sauce and the selection of perfect meat was unreal. Well done 👏
