13/01/2025: Had lunch today with my wife. I had the Phuket with boiled rice. Just a beautiful dish with lovely ingredients. My wife had chicken with cashew nuts and she was very pleased also. Been here probably 4 or 5 times and it has always been consistently good. Staff very pleasant also.

29/12/2024: Best restaurant in Cork! It is so authentic, I’ve been to Thailand twice but never tasted anything as delicious as I have tonight. I got the Thai chicken yellow curry that was made from scratch, my father loved his Fried Seafood curry and my wife also gave her Sizzling Peppercorn 10/10. The little starter of prawn crackers and satay sauce is perfect. All of the staff are amazing, especially the chef, Fang. I love going there, each time is even better than the last.

14/01/2024: Kubos closed towards the end of 2023 with zero notice to their loyal customers when they shut their doors - either in store, on social media, or online. They eventually put a sheet of A4 paper on their window to say that the establishment was undergoing refurbished and will be open again soon. Shocked to see its now gone and another generic taco chain has opened in its place. Horribly disappointing professionalism by the owner of Kubos on the run up to their exit from Douglas after all these years

12/12/2024: Tuvimos una gran celebración de cumpleaños en Mak.
Fue muy sencillo llegar aquí en la línea de tranvía rojo y luego unos minutos a pie.
Una de nuestras fiestas tiene celíaco, así que los cuatro seleccionamos comida del menú de celíacos que luego compartimos. Todo estaba delicioso y las porciones eran generosas.
El restaurante estaba ocupado un sábado por la noche y nos cuidaron bien.
Tuvimos una buena sorpresa cuando me dieron un postre inesperado de cumpleaños.
Ojalá tuviéramos un restaurante como Mak en Londres.
09/11/2024: Visitó Dublín con una amiga que es celíaca, se sorprendió por la elección en el menú celíaco y usted hizo su noche con los increíbles calamares y pollo con chile. Es raro en Inglaterra tener opciones chinas sin gluten. Mi no gluten libre también fue increíble! ¡Salsa Satay tan sabrosa! ¡No queríamos desperdiciar nada y nos lo llevamos a casa para terminar! Estamos considerando volver solo para su comida!
