El restaurante está dirigido por un propietario y chef tailandés, que se enorgullece de ofrecer platos auténticos de su tierra natal. 09/03/2025: Was visiting the city and going by the good reviews we wanted to give it a try. The service was good, but the food overpriced for the strain it put on the stomach. Already while eating the sweet and sour dish I felt "off" and didn't finish it. Now I'm having stomach issues. To be fair, my gf did enjoy the beef stew so maybe I was unlucky. But I wouldn't try again. Edit: Next morning my gf is also feeling sick. Can't recommend AT ALL!
25/02/2025: I frequently go here for lunch with work colleagues. It's the highlight of our week! Great value and some really good dishes. Rice with BBQ duck is a favourite. I've never received a dish I did not like.

23/03/2025: Very impressed with the food here. Took 4 kids in on a Saturday at 5pm. We eat in, and we're impressed with the extra like, fortune cookies and icecream. The person who took our order gave us a couple of extra juices.

14/01/2024: Kubos closed towards the end of 2023 with zero notice to their loyal customers when they shut their doors - either in store, on social media, or online. They eventually put a sheet of A4 paper on their window to say that the establishment was undergoing refurbished and will be open again soon. Shocked to see its now gone and another generic taco chain has opened in its place. Horribly disappointing professionalism by the owner of Kubos on the run up to their exit from Douglas after all these years

12/12/2024: Tuvimos una gran celebración de cumpleaños en Mak.
Fue muy sencillo llegar aquí en la línea de tranvía rojo y luego unos minutos a pie.
Una de nuestras fiestas tiene celíaco, así que los cuatro seleccionamos comida del menú de celíacos que luego compartimos. Todo estaba delicioso y las porciones eran generosas.
El restaurante estaba ocupado un sábado por la noche y nos cuidaron bien.
Tuvimos una buena sorpresa cuando me dieron un postre inesperado de cumpleaños.
Ojalá tuviéramos un restaurante como Mak en Londres.
