The best restaurants in Tullow

22/03/2025: If I cud give zero stars I wud. Has to be the worst drive thru in the country. Food is never ready. Most of the time made to park up and wait. And then they still don't get the order right. 90% of the time there's something missing from the order. Today a chicken breast missing but charged for it. I've even been given someone else's order that I had to return cause they had given mine to someone else. Absolute joke. Today was the last straw. Will never get food from there again

21/03/2025: N7 fantastic. Tuam smax and papajohns a1. The fella who started 2024 makinh pizzas should get a raise. As well as the fella who does the books and pops behind the till when its busy. 17/02/2025: Hemos comido aquí antes, pero algunos nuevos propietarios podrían darse cuenta. Fuera para la cena familiar del sábado. Preciosa zona arriba no se utiliza. Sentado abajo. Escuchando música del club e iluminación brillante en pleno resplandor de la cocina. En realidad sólo huele a cena de cantina en lugar de un placer de sábado por la noche.

07/01/2025: Tuvimos una excelente comida con excelente pescado fresco. Muy recomendable , era tranquilo ocupado el domingo , pero el personal que todos muy amable y se podía parecer la risa y bromear como trabajaban. Siempre me gusta ver esto en cualquier lugar y muestra un gran ambiente de trabajo.

27/03/2025: Dining out in this country has become extremely expensive but luckily, The Derreen, Tullow Carlow is EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. Home cooked food at an acceptable price.

15/02/2025: Decided to give it a try after driving past it many times. Hate writing a bad review when restaurants are struggling, especially in provincial towns, away from big city centres, but this was one of the worst meals I have had in a long time. Tandoori Chicken starter was tasteless. Samosa was frozen. possibly from Aldi across the road. 2 main courses didn’t improve matters. Pilau rice was microwaved in a pouch. Cannot describe the prawn curry other than to say it came in a Pyrex bowl, and looked like it was four prawns with a jar of something thrown over it. No red wine, coke was flat. Place was freezing. Indian restaurants generally have managed to retain some degree of authenticity and craft when compared to their Chinese counterparts, but I am afraid New Moon is bucking that trend. Terrible experience.

21/12/2024: Very disappointed. Takeaway was put in the bin. The mains very very oily. Second time trying... never again.
