04/03/2024: I think this is a great Chinese restaurant.As a Chinese person,I'm really happy to enjoy such great flavors here. I especially love dishes made with various curries and spicy foods.
09/09/2023: Stopped here for takeaway enroute to Donegal.
Previously this may have had seating, but when we went the seating area seems to have been converted for some other use and theyโve takeaway only.
The food was quite good. They customised to our taste and in accordance with our dietary requirements.
Singapore spicy vegetable noodles: had a hint of spice and sweetness and tasted good
Amber fire vegetables - this is one of the spiciest items according to their menu and though it was spicier than the noodles it gets a bit diluted with the rice and goes well.
You get free prawn crackers on orders above 20โฌ

26/03/2024: The service was very attentive, the place is clean although a bit cold. Regarding the food I ordered sweet corn soup with chicken (which was amazing good) but my main course I ordered roast pork and I was sorry, that roast had nothing, it was boiled and the vegetables cooked and reheated in the microwave.
I complained to the staff and they insisted that it was roasted. Come on, they made me feel crazy, they want to sell me a cat for a hare... How are they able to plead for something that is not true? That if they had told me we don't have roasted pork only boiled in the pot, that nothing happens. But don't want to sell you something that isn't. So I don't recommend the place at all

27/03/2024: We were overnighting in Tralee and did a Google search for Best Asian Restaurant in Tralee. Tamarind was selected as #1. Upon reading a selection of the reviews we were happy to proceed with the majority and were not disappointed. The Restaurant is very clean and Asian Themed. The service was Top Class. The Owner/ Chef and her daughter Kathleen could not have made us more welcome, they were so hospitable and we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we ordered to the point we could not finish them. We wish them continued success.
20/03/2024: Delicious food for affordable prices. My friend and I love to order the Gai Pad Prik or roast duck in any form. The aromatic duck wrap and Thai fishcakes are great appetisers. We decided to try the dine in experience and it did not disappoint! Our server was so nice and the chef was lovely. She even came out in person to ask about our meal. I ended up ordering boba tea to go and Iโll be back for the sushi rolls. We had a yummy cheesecake with side of ice cream. 10/10 dining for lunch or dinner

05/03/2024: Having arrived late on a cold November evening and hungry after a long motorcycle trip, I was met by a very friendly host who couldn't do enough for me. I had a delicious prawn kung po and rice. Whenever I'm passing by in the future I'll pop in again.

This review is long overdue as we are always soooooo excited to eat, that I forget to take any pictures, as you can see I almost forgot it again... ๐
The Super Spicy Bag is our family favourite, the chips are fresh and crunchy, and the seasoning is always on point! My favourite is the Duck Thai Green Curry, the duck is super soft, and the curry is super creamy and spicy. My son's favourite is the House Special Dry Chow Mein, the smoky flavour on this is amazing. My wife is always trying something different from their menu, which has never failed her.
If you are looking for great Asian food, give this place a try, you won't regret it! ๐๐๐ป
