31/08/2024: A very nice and pleasant atmosphere! The food is very good and at a moderate price, if you want to treat yourself to pasta it's totally worth it 🙌🏻 I've been looking for a place like this for a while and it really surprised me! For my part, I had a delicious lasagna and a pretty filling tiramisu for dessert. I recommend it 100%

17/08/2024: We decided to satisfy our pizza craving while in Killarney, and Piccolo topped the list—and for good reason. This charming, intimate spot has only a few tables and a long bar-style seating area. As we dined, we noticed a steady stream of locals picking up their pizzas to go—a clear testament to Piccolo’s popularity. From the first bite of their salad, we knew we were in for something special. It’s rare to find a place that pairs exceptional pizza with an equally memorable salad, but Piccolo delivered. And the pizza? Absolutely phenomenal. The crust was a masterpiece—light, crisp, and bursting with flavor. Piccolo surpassed all our expectations, and we couldn’t recommend it more. If you’re in Killarney, do yourself a favor and make a stop here. 100% worth it!

12/08/2024: By far the very best meal of our trip to Dublin. A really fabulous evening made special by the very attentive and friendly staff. The menu was fantastic. Struggled to decide between so many wonderful options! Foie gras and pigeon - utterly delicious perfectly cooked. Such a lovely ambience. Cannot rate highly enough. If I stayed closer I would be there regularly but unfortunately not so easy from the west of Scotland. Book now. You certainly won’t be disappointed.

09/08/2024: This was superb. A relative bargain at 89 euro for the menu. The lobster and prawn stuffed zucchini flower was delightful. The lamb was sublime and the jack dorey fish was delicious as well. And the meringue and chocolate were both outstanding. Service was sublime. One of the best meals I have ever had.

28/08/2024: The staff and food both excellent. Catered very well for a large party of 14 who all had a great evening.

21/08/2024: A very different type of dining experience and one I would highly recommend. The Chef showed some amazing skills with his cooking and general handling of the utensils. Very entertaining and engaging with the group. The food itself was a different level to any Asian style food I've had before and seeing it cooked live in front of you perhaps add to the flavours. Would be happy to dine here again and would highly recommend.

04/09/2024: From Cork but happened to be in the area for 2 nights midweek. Booked a table here for Wednesday night based on recommendations online. Absolutely incredible meal, each course was inventive and delicious. Friendly atmosphere and huge value for money. Have often spent far more on far less quality food.

31/08/2024: I loved everything about it. The food down to the finest detail was fantastic. Couple that with Irish hospitality in a lovely dining room and you have an experience to remember. I opted for the 5 course menu for €65 per head . Very reasonably priced. We had the crispy hens egg and the wood pigeon for starters, followed by the lamb and brill and finally the chocolate, salted caramel tart and the rhubarb and liquorice something. Everything was delicious. A very strong recommendation and may even convince me to move back to Ireland

18/08/2024: My girlfriend and I stopped by Zakura tonight on our brief holiday in Dublin; it was highly recommended by our hotel concierge. The food was absolutely fantastic and the waiters were incredibly friendly and professional. The decor is beautiful and makes for a very cosy, very memorable evening. Could not recommend any higher!

20/08/2024: Don’t order by yourself. Tell the owner to recommend you that by the way it’s incredibly nice. The blue cheese is more than incredible. Moreover, the music is so good. Tiny place but cute as hell.

07/09/2024: We were in this great restaurant at the beginning of September. Even though we hadn't reserved a table, we were offered a great place. 29/08/2024: Extremely good restaurant. Had the pineapple fried rice . It was wonderful. The presentation was amazing, and the taste was mouthwatering. Children loved the food. Highly recommend.

25/08/2024: We decided to get a takeaway from here while on our holidays. Didn't think it'd be anything special, but it was hands down the nicest Chinese/Asian takeaway I've had in Ireland. I got the Pad Thai and it was so so good. Absolutely gutted this place isn't in my hometown. You have to try it!

18/08/2024: Called in for a sandwich from bia box and a pint in the bar. The food was fantastic and the pub itself had a great authentic vibe, a wee hidden gem for sure!
