10/10/2025: Always one of my favourite go to, however in the last six months , and again especially today, I have noticed a couple of things , firstly the taste of the food is only ok, leaning to bland. The portions are noticeably smaller, and thirdly prices have increased.
Now while I can accept smaller portions or increased prices not both. But more importantly was the lack of flavour in both dishes,made it a decidedly disappointing visit. Also our crispy sheddied chicken starter was miniscule portion. Can’t believe how much it has chnged

26/09/2025: New Great Wall is our favorite Chinese take-away. The delivery people, first of all, are always so sincerely friendly and it's so clear they're not expecting a tip to the point of reluctance. Absolutely classy people.
The food is always piping hot, even if it's delivered. I've let it sit for 10-15 minutes before I could get to it and the chips are still toasty. They're really on the ball.
And the food is the best version of your classic European-style Chinese takeaway. If you like their version of things, and we do, you can't go wrong with their consistency, professionalism, friendliness and welcoming personalities. We never have a bad expeirence with New Great Wall.

Had to pay €1 extra because of incorrect display delivery fee
Extremely salty to the point it’s not edibles
( would be nice if I did not have to pay the €1 extra and if they ease up on the salt )

27/09/2025: Went there last night. We enjoyed the food but I think I got food poisoning, as that same night I woke up with severe tummy pain and afterwards I vomited non stop until I’ve nothing to vomit anymore. Should I be contacting them to inform them of my ordeal?

11/11/2025: Food was ok, fried rice was not fried well and was basically boiled rice with some egg very poor. Chicken dish was ok but found it expensive for what you get and considering the quality.
18/10/2025: Very disappointed. My friend ordered curry and there was satay sauce mixed with it. She had to go CUH due to an allergic reaction to nuts. Food has no flavour, chips were bland not even a grain of Salt. I ordered chicken satay wrappos and no sauce in my wrappos and about 2-3 pieces of chicken. Could be more but too disgusting to finish. Aswell there was a puddle of oil in my box of food. Will not be ordering from here again ive been starving and this is what I wasted my money on .

10/05/2025: Great food at a good price. Not fancy decor but we were there for the food! A good range to choose from and Jimmy and his staff were authentic. Wine prices were reasonable too.

My Husband had House Special in Oyster Sauce and the selection of perfect meat was unreal. Well done 👏
