Hang Dai

Dublin
12/02/2025: I ordered a platter for two (€60 each). Whilst eating the main course I enquired where the wagu beef was, as what I tried to eat I thought it was squid due to the rubbery texture. I was informed that was the wagu beef. I have eaten wagu in various places around the world and it has just melted in my mouth , however I did try to eat it but failed and had to leave it. The chicken I thought it was pork and my partner thought it was tofu, we were told the amount of units sold, putting it back on us deflecting the poor quality and the issues I raised. AVERAGE AT BEST. Hope this helps future victims.
10/02/2025: I ordered the house fried rice and it was incredibly salty, we had to leave half of it. I ordered the Argentine shrimp and it was horribly spicy, where on the menu does it say it's spicy? The only good thing is that the waitress served us very well, congratulations to them. The food was disappointing.

09/02/2025: Usually I love their braised Beef noodle , and one cold dishes called tofu with century egg, in general was good, but the tofu I had that day was salty.

Chai Yo

Dublin
16/02/2025: It’s a very fab place to visit, the chef is so witty and friendly, so interactive as well. They will cook the food in front of you, all the birthday babies will be having a smol peace of cake and a live birthday song. We got Pork Bao and Chicken Bao as starters, tasting menu as mains,The ingredients look very fresh as well, all menu will be including fried rice, miso soup and fried potatoes. Deserving visiting again for some special days, like birthday, anniversaries or group events, don’t forget to reserve the table in advance, walk in won’t work for you

Global

Dublin
17/02/2025: Very disappointed with my experience today. 9 years I been going to this restaurant and today I had a staff member snatched a glass out of my hand due to her misunderstanding of my English. Absolutely shocked . Won't come back again. Please hire staff than understand English. Bottomless drinks mean you can use a different glass. Please explain the concept to your European staff members. So no one gets treated this way again.
08/02/2025: Good selection of food there. Sushis is delicious. Grill bar is fantastic.

Ka Shing

Dublin
18/02/2025: Really nice dim sum and friendly service
16/02/2025: A Cantonese friend highly recommended Ka Shing, so our expectations were high, and they absolutely delivered! The dim sum menu is clear and perfect for sharing, with every dish tasting incredibly fresh and flavorful. We had the char siu buns, Shanghai-style steamed buns, and siu mai, all of which were fantastic. The char siu itself might just be the best in Dublin, and the fried rice was top-notch. Excellent service and a truly authentic experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Dublin
21/02/2025: Always a great takeaway. The battered sausages and fried chicken are amazing.
06/12/2024: Always good everytime, good portion sizes and tasty food, not too expensive either, I would say reasonably priced in today's high level cost of living.

Hilan

Dublin
08/02/2025: If I could give 0 stars I would … We ordered the hot pot for two, the food was frozen and processed we waited for it to cook and was pretty much inedible honestly very disappointed, we barely ate anything as even the sauces were terrible one was completely bland with no flavour and the other was incredibly spicy and oily. There was a tv beside our table that didn’t look like it had been cleaned in 50 years as well as the lamp shades above our table, where the dust was falling into our hot pot. Even in the end they didn’t want to give us a discount until they finally had to call their boss who then offered us a discount for the meal. Avoid.
02/02/2025: I heard from a reliable source that after an evening of heavy pinteliers, you can come in here at 2 a.m. for something that is rare in Dublin: a good meal for a normal price. It is also explicitly stated that no 12.5 sewing tax is charged for large groups, a plus. "The food was good, the rice was sticky, just a shame about the plastic plates." The owner also had a good haircut.
