10/11/2024: Food was amazing. Staff were all extremely helpful in helping us throw a surprise 40th last night. Our waiter Tiernan was the bomb. He looked after over 20 of us pretty much solo and we were never wanting for anything. Genuinely best waiter I've seen in years with an amazing attitude and nothing was a problem for him.

16/11/2024: Had a great evening at Chai-Yo. The chef Cedie is a next level entertainer and cook!

15/11/2024: I was quite disappointed with the level of service during my recent visit. I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before my reservation time but ended up waiting for an additional 20 minutes. During this time, I noticed that the receptionist allowed several people to be attended to before me, even though they arrived after I did. When I politely inquired about my reservation, the receptionist responded in a very rude manner, instructing me to sit down and wait. This behavior was highly unprofessional and left a very negative impression. While I have dined at this restaurant before and greatly enjoyed the excellent food, this incident has unfortunately marred my experience.

10/11/2024: I went there few times with my family. Food and service was every time excellent. There's a large selection of food from all around the world. Even the pickiest little human will find something to eat. I highly recommend this place.

19/11/2024: Possibly the best Chinese takeaway in Dublin. It's always hopping, still get it fast and the food tastes amazing. Can't beat the curry sauce king.

07/11/2024: Xiao long bao didn’t have enough soup. But siu mai and hakaw were perfect! Saw a lot of reviews of them being rude. Im asian so im used to the kind of service they give. I dont think they were rude at all.

The service is fast and friendly, which is ideal for a lunch hour. Whether you’re in the mood for something light or craving a hearty meal, they have something to satisfy every taste.

30/10/2024: Avoid at all costs. Fillet of Beef is not Fillet it is a cheap cut of beef stewed which you can taste. Food is less than a takeaway standard. Worse chinese I have ever had could not eat it.

30/10/2024: We’ve visited good world a few times over the last 10 years and it hasn’t really changed. The staff are lovely and the dining room has a nice vibe. But sadly the food is poor. The menu is big on choice but the quality of ingredients isn’t great. The dim sum for example are all the same frozen ones from the Asia market nearby. And the meat used in the main dishes is most likely frozen too, with no provenance listed on the menu. So too with the sauces, clearly made from packets or pastes. With so many cuisine options now available in Dublin, and the standard so high, it would be great to see a restaurant like good world up their game and showcase some regional chinese dishes, but more importantly, made using fresh produce.
