very busy but a cool interior and asian small plates of delicious food more than made up by a few service hiccups
gochujang wagyu brisket was delicious
pork dumplings were good but stuck to the banana leaf in the steamer basket
amazing spicy kung po chicken with fried rice and a good bowl of pak choi
great cocktails and drinks

15/02/2026: Extremely disappointed how the standards have dropped, the food was spoilt with nothing but salt, that in turn made us thirsty. I ordered prawns but it was topped with chicken, not ideal if you're a pescatarian. We were served straight up vodka, disguised as tequila. And the experience cost us almost 200 hundred euros. I am allergic to vodka and have been in agony since.. It's such a pity because i used to really rate this place. Now businesses are fooling their customers with cheap food and alcohol and customers are paying a hefty price. After that experience I won't be eating or drinking at Hang Dai again. I spent the next day in bed in agony and I'm still feeling unwell.

10/12/2025: I have just finished my dinner from here, I will say the breast chicken in the 4 in 1 is absolutely beautiful and very good size but you definitely need more curry sauce, and more rice not enough rice or curry for the amount of chicken.
Also ordered chicken cheese rolls !!... very unsatisfied with them, they were dripping with grease and barely any meat inside them :( wouldn't recommend them !!! But the veggie king do dish with boiled rice is beautiful, a good few different types of veg :) 3 out 5 stars

The manager was rude ,we were a party of ten, after we'd been seated at a table for 8 and another table for four ,we'd began to eat, when the manager came to complain that we were taking up two extra seats. We did not choose these seats ,it was where we'd been told to sit as we had pre booked .. The staff all seemed very stressed out, its a busy place ,it was our first time there and our last...

I haven't eaten anything this bad in ages. What kind of nobody can open a Chinese restaurant? And they have the nerve to charge so much money?

05/02/2026: It’s been 2 hours the rider arrived the food arrived outside my hotel I ordered the food at 6pm it’s 8 pm right the delivery drivers disappeared some home Uber eats isn’t responding and the contact info for the resturant isn’t going through I tried calling and calling but no response I was talking to an Uber eats operator he said it’s not his issue to handle I wonder who’s issue it is honestly the most frustrating service service I we ever received would never use this app again

If u r looking for a venue like i was for a family of 10 people, trying to impress ur in-laws and your young adult children in a Chinese restaurant, you know you got it right when the draft beer was fresh, wine delicious and the food menu has everyone s favourite and the service speedy. Here's what I ordered and all of them delicious:
1.Signature crispy roast duck
2.Crispy chilly chicken with salt and pepper
3.King prawns with corn and salt egg york
4.Seabass sweet and sour
5.razor fish with minced garlic
6. Twice cooked pork belly
7. Sizzling Beef with black bean sauce
9. Stir fried green veg
10. Stir fried aubergine and long beans
11. Chinese pork dumplings
To add to our delight, the owner offered a huge complimentary fruit platter for our birthday occasion.
24/02/2026: Great Chinese food. I like seafood and meat. I can find what I like here. Steamed fish, boiled fish, ginger and scallion lobster, ginger and scallion shrimp, spicy stir-fried bamboo clams, and scallion oil snail slices are my favorites. Stir-fried lamb, cumin beef, mouth-watering chicken, and husband and wife lung slices are also great. There is a large parking lot downstairs, which is absolutely convenient. It is definitely right to come here for Chinese food. It is also a great place to eat between Dublin and Powerscourt.

This is my all time favourite Chinese takeaway there meal deal 2 feeds two adults and four children for under 11 euro I would recommend anything off there menu they also do a European menu as well the staff are very friendly and there delivery service is very quick 10 out of 10 huí kee
