The food was very well presented and the mains portions were large. Food was delicious. I would definitely recommend to a friend and we will be returning. Great atmosphere!

18/01/2026: Attended for a work Christmas lunch and had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked in front of us. Lots of interaction from the chef and a singsong at the end. The restaurant opened early to accommodate us which was really appreciated by us country folk having to travel a distance! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend, especially for groups. Staff were so attentive and friendly.

Received: chicken chop suey with fried rice. It is a busy and noisy area, so mishearing happens. Not ideal, but not tragic. 5/10
Food: one of the better chop suey dishes I have had from Chinese takeaways. Not excellent, slightly too salty, but they followed my instruction no celery, and the tray wasn't overloaded with onion. Solid effort. 7/10
Portion: standard size, nothing exaggerated, but fully fair.
The best part: only 10.80, while others charge 13-15+ for the same dish. 10/10
Service: simple packaging - plastic tray for the main, aluminium tray for the side, basic brown paper bag. No napkins, no chopsticks, no cutlery. Functional but minimalistic. 6/10
Price: for Dublin standards, extremely affordable. Genuinely surprising in a positive way. 10/10
Overall: 8/10.
Good value, good taste, and very fair pricing. Despite the mix-up, I will definitely return.
06/11/2025: 10/10 every time, open tray 4 in 1 is deffo the best in Dublin. Get some amount of chicken. Deffo on the pricier side for a 4 in 1 but actually not the worst for the amount you get. LOVE, struggle to get from other Chinese since having this.

18/01/2026: Highly recommend! The stir-fried vegetables were delicious, with a great thickening sauce and excellent wok hei (wok aroma).
Other stir-fried dishes were also very good. For dinner, they also offer freshly grilled teppanyaki and freshly cooked mala tang (spicy hot pot). The teppanyaki was even better than the mala tang!
Overall, I would definitely visit again! 💗
The only major drawback was the extremely smelly toilet…
The toilet wasn't flushed; it used a vacuum system, which was very inefficient. The toilet was very dirty. I hope the restaurant can replace it with a flush toilet.

16/11/2025: Very noisy and busy Cantonese restaurant, but it is obviously one of the most traditional and authentic place for tasting Cantonese food particularly Dim Sum. They even serve dim sum in the evening which is always a plus.

04/01/2026: The food here was delicious. We got 4 mains; Xiang style beef, sizzling lamb with cumin, sliced beef in hot chili oil and sweet&sour chicken. My favorite one by far was the lamb with cumin but I highly recommend all four.

If you want good food, and most importantly, good quality service and a pleasant atmosphere, you should visit this place. The food is very good and tasty, and the prices are affordable.

11/11/2025: I have not gone one day without craving the Chicken Ball Spice Box. Would recommend getting it with a thing of sweet and sour sauce to dip the food in, the very thought of it has me salivating.

04/01/2026: I was really disappointed with the value for money at this restaurant. While the staff were very nice and accommodating, the prices were far too high for what was actually served.
When we were seated, we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water, without being told the price. This turned out to be €6.90 per bottle, which felt excessive. We were also given a small dish of prawn crackers — about 7 in total between the three of us — which was surprisingly stingy.
For my main, I ordered the crispy chilli beef, which cost €32. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what I expected at all. Instead of strips of beef, it was more like puffed, crunchy beef crisps, which was quite disappointing. Rice was not included and cost an extra €5, but it couldn’t be ordered for one person — only shared between two. Even then, the portion was so small it was barely enough for one person.
Overall, the food portions were extremely small for the price charged. While the service was good, the experience didn’t justify the cost, and I left feeling disappointed rather than satisfied.
23/12/2025: We had a super fun evening at the Orchid on the 18th December to celebrate two Birthdays and Christmas get together .. Everything from the time we entered was just fab .. The friendliest attentive staff, most delicious food and great wines and tiger beers to wash it all down !! A great night for us all .. Thanks for the scrumptious sponge cake too ..

This is my all time favourite Chinese takeaway there meal deal 2 feeds two adults and four children for under 11 euro I would recommend anything off there menu they also do a European menu as well the staff are very friendly and there delivery service is very quick 10 out of 10 huí kee
