16/11/2025: NOT RECOMMENDED! READ UPDATE BELOW. My original review still stands: Simple chicken chop suey with fried rice for 15.50, trays half empty, taste nothing special, overpriced compared to other similar takeaways charging around 10 for larger portions. EDIT – Gave them a second chance after several years. Result: another disappointment. Food: very plain and salty. Some peppers and cabbage in the chop suey tasted not fresh. Fried noodles: I ordered fried noodles, not bean sprouts with a bit of noodles. The ratio was basically 50/50, which makes no sense. Service: No napkins, no chopsticks, no cutlery, no receipt. Just two trays in a paper bag. For a place charging premium prices, this feels careless. Price vs quality: I paid 16.50 this time. For what I got, it’s simply a bad choice. Final score: 1/10. Not recommended.

28/10/2025: Really disappointed with my order. When I collected my food, the chips were missing, and it took another 45 minutes for them to arrive. By the time they came, all the food was cold. The server told me the chips would be sent straight out for delivery (I only live 5 minutes away), but that clearly didn’t happen. To make things worse, they tried to give me only €3 credit instead of just sending what I ordered. Terrible service — won’t be ordering again.

15/10/2025: Food in here has become terrible ever since these new owners took over This place. Cleaboy chipper was one of the best chippers in the town by a mile. But ever since these new owners came the food has gone massively downhill especially in the last year or so,Also the price of food in here is absolutely ridiculous for the food that gets served. I highly recommend not to go here as there is plenty of better chipper's in waterford city.

20/09/2025: I only tried the chicken wrap, therefore I can only speak about that. It wasn't bad, but far from the best one I've had. The meat was a little bit too oily for my taste and didn't sit well in my belly. On the other hand, it's not expensive (atm), so that balances a bit. The service was fast, meaning that the staff is doing their best to serve every customer quickly enough. Overall, a good little spot for takeaway, if your expectations are not very high for the price.

30/07/2025: It was my first time trying the spice bag or spice bucket. It was great. It's a bit spicy, but still delicious. I also ordered the three available sauces. Curry, sweet & sour and satay. I liked the curry sauce the best. There was a line to order. It was quick ordering, though. My food was ready in about 10 minutes. I enjoyed what I ordered and would like to try the other things on the menu if I am in the area.

31/07/2025: Usually it’s great but last night they delivered a half spice bag with no spice when i ordered a large, with spice.

08/04/2025: Very kind workers, food is always crispy and hot, super fresh!!! Only takes 10 minutes or under to prepare food

06/09/2025: Recently moved to the area and have had some nice food from here, their special spice bag is a mountain of food with crispy chicken, beef and prawns , may end up being a regular now

22/11/2025: Customer for year, always take away and collect. Decided to go for delivery today, ordered via app earlier in the day. Arrived over 30 mins late and food had to be reheated. So yes for take away collection as the food is very nice but avoid delivery.

09/11/2025: We love this place for takeaway. Our favorite is Kung Pao chicken .. very delicious..and the quantities is decent for two people. They give you fired chicken complimentary if your order is above €40. Keep service .. you can even place order online and then collect it in 20 mins

15/09/2025: I hadn’t ordered from this takeaway in 9 years, it was underwhelming back then but holy wow has it changed! 🤤 My aunt and uncle visited this weekend and she kept saying she wanted to order from there on their last night so I cautiously agreed. I’m so glad i did, we couldn’t stop ‘wowing’! We had the crispy duck pancakes to start, Thai green chicken curry with noodles, sweet and sour chicken with rice, massaman chicken with rice, prawn crackers and an amazing surprise extra (we think it was the Thai honey something chicken). Generous portions, amazing flavours, everything was genuinely perfect. I love that they do both Chinese and Thai dishes, and I’m already planning my order for next week to show my husband when he’s home how much it’s changed. (We ordered and had it delivered via Deliveroo, I’m not certain if they Deliveroo if you order direct). You’re officially my new go-to! Right now though, I’m looking forward to my lunch leftovers, thank you! :)

20/11/2025: Shockingly flavourless food like there wasn’t even even salt used; snarky staff who are visibly bothered by your presence + throw your food/cutlery (which is all plastic by the way) on the table; and the door doesn’t even close?? lol might as well eat outside if it’s cold as there’s no difference…literally the worst experience I’ve ever had eating out in Dublin - please don’t waste your money by spending it here
