30/11/2025: Been here twice the fish dishes are phenomenal. Do not skip desert they're really creative. Staff are pure sound. Best food in Clare right now imho.
05/11/2025: Group of 7 for dinner. Everything was superb. Having eaten at an upmarket (overpriced) restaurant on Stephen’s Green Dublin 4 nights previously, there’s no argument. Tubridy’s was far superior in every aspect (menu, flavour, hospitality).

19/10/2025: We visited this restaurant as a group of eight and were really looking forward to it after hearing and reading so many good reviews. The food itself was great — everything we ordered was tasty and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food.
From the moment we arrived, there was no friendly greeting, and throughout our visit, not one staff member smiled or made us feel welcome. Our orders were taken without any warmth, and no one came to check if everything was okay or if we wanted more drinks. The staff seemed grumpy and uninterested, which made the whole experience feel uncomfortable.
It’s disappointing because the food was good, but the lack of customer service really brought down the experience. Sadly, I won’t be visiting again.
11/10/2025: We had a very pleasant meal here, one steak one fish. Service was lovely, efficient and timed well. We had a table with children next to us and contrary to other reviews the children were treated well. Would return

03/05/2025: Came by this pub by off chance when me and my mate were doing a tour of west coast of Ireland.
Coming in early evening we were only intending to stay for a couple but Christine the landlady her partner Mike and Martin one of the regulars made us feel so welcome we ended staying a bit longer and leaving in the early hours, with Martins wife giving us a lift back to our camper van
Loved it so much was really tempted to come back for the jazz festival in the village at the end of May but unable to due to work commitments. I do know if you decide to visit you will made to feel very welcome.
