Tubridy's
Doonbeg
08/07/2025: Fantastic food . The flavours unreal . Very attentive staff . Such a great spot and the ambiance top class . Till next time
30/06/2025: Four of us visited, two of us had the same dish, one of those two was GF & DF. We were impressed that the chef came out to check that the right dish had been served to the right person (it actually hadn’t but because the chef came out, this was rectified). So 10/10 for attention to detail! The food was good but we only had a main course each so can’t comment on starters or desserts. Nicely decorated restaurant but no aircon (little fans were present), although Ireland isn’t known for its lengthy heatwaves! You definitely need to book.

Morrissey's
Doonbeg
21/06/2025: Unbelievable dinner experience.
Seven of us went to Morrissey's for dinner. One of the best nights of my life.
The staff are the unsung heroes of the restaurant, always smiling and quick to ask if you want another drink, or just checking that your food is ok.
The food was amazing. When you're traveling around Ireland, you do sometimes lower expectations as you
never know what you're going to get....but Morrissey's exceeded our expectations.
The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back 👍
13/06/2025: We didn't have a reservation, but we still managed to get a great seat by the window overlooking the terrace and the river. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. Fresh bread and butter were served to all guests beforehand. For our main course, we ordered sirloin steak and buttermilk chicken. Both were delicious, especially the sauces that accompanied the dishes. For dessert, the host recommended a fantastic local whiskey. A very successful evening for us, and we would return anytime.

Igoe Inn
Doonbeg
03/05/2025: Came by this pub by off chance when me and my mate were doing a tour of west coast of Ireland.
Coming in early evening we were only intending to stay for a couple but Christine the landlady her partner Mike and Martin one of the regulars made us feel so welcome we ended staying a bit longer and leaving in the early hours, with Martins wife giving us a lift back to our camper van
Loved it so much was really tempted to come back for the jazz festival in the village at the end of May but unable to due to work commitments. I do know if you decide to visit you will made to feel very welcome.
