04/05/2025: Wow!!! Craziness! One of the best restaurants and food we experienced on our trip to Ireland! So tasty, such large portions at reasonable prices! Top! I have rarely eaten such a good curry! Nice and attentive service, great atmosphere! We felt very comfortable and were there for 2 days!

From the moment you step inside, the warmth of the welcoming staff and the cozy yet vibrant atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The food is nothing short of exceptional—each dish is a perfect blend of local flavors and culinary creativity. I opted for the fresh seafood platter, and it was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds—absolutely brimming with fresh, locally sourced delights. The portions were generous, and the presentation was artful. I also tried their renowned fish and chips, which were perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The service was impeccable. The team is attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made sure that we felt at home from start to finish, offering great recommendations and making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The ambiance is perfect for any occasion—whether you’re on a romantic date, a family dinner, or a casual night out with friends, Naughton’s has the perfect vibe. They even have a great selection of craft beers and wines to complement your meal. I can't recommend Naughton’s enough—it's one of those rare places where the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere all come together perfectly. A true gem in Kilkee!

05/05/2025: We stopped by Diamond Rocks Cafe for a bit of breakfast as we heard so many good reviews about this place. We ordered a cream cheese with bacon and breakfast bap and unfortunately we were waiting over 30 minutes for our food. The service was very poor. A lot of young staff who didn't seem to know the table numbers yet and lot of food served one plate at a time. My husband got his but then I was waiting a further 15 minutes for mine. Seen 1 staff member bringing a bagel out but served it to the wrong table. I had realised it was prob mine and then 5 minutes later it came out but the bagel was cold and looks like been lying in the kitchen for awhile. Felt like a senior manager should have been present today especially on a bank holiday as the young staff looked a bit under pressure. Food is lovely. The bagel was cold and you didn't get any side salad or that with it. I just think it was 1 bad day and they are not long reopened so I will go back again to give it a go cos it's located in a beautiful location. Just staff training is needed also.

26/02/2025: First thing first ... The coffee was great 👍 if you love a good cup of coffee, this is the place. There's hot food options like toastie, panini and baps and a great selection of delicious cakes. There's also an outside sitting area to enjoy the sun and fresh air , also heater above outside table if it gets a bit frosty.

16/05/2025: Great traditional pub..Hung out on a Saturday night while the pub filled up with fans watching the hurling match. Met some great people.

25/04/2025: I’ve been to Bay View Hotel in Kilkee a few times. I enjoyed their rooms with a perfect view on the beach, it was amazing to watch sunsets from my room. Hotel is located one minute away from the beach. The food was okay, to be honest it wasn’t as good as i expected. The personal was polite and nice, but it took them much time to cook food for me and my family.
