Pollock & Porter
Kilkee
23/06/2024: Had a gorgeous meal for my birthday in pollock &porter. Thoroughly enjoyed, wonderful food, great value for a quality meal, gorgeous cocktails served in beautiful glassware. Will definitely be going again.
04/06/2024: My partner and I ate here over the June Bank Holiday Weekend, and all I can say is that it was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. We started with the crab claws, which were so beautifully cooked and full of flavour. We struggled to choose our mains because we wanted to try everything, so my partner had the Sole and I had the duck, and we shared. Both meals were delicious and between the amazing food and beautiful wine we left there very satisfied. I cannot recommend this fabulous restaurant enough. I will certainly be back. We were delighted to meet the chef and pass on our thanks to him ourselves. Such a lovely talented man. Thank you for such a wonderful evening.

Diamond Rocks Cafe
Kilkee
15/03/2025: Nowhere will compete for sitting with a coffee and traybake watching waves crashing on the stunning headlands, after a dip in the Pollock Holes.
Fantastic little spot and the food has never disappointed either. I've sat for many an hour in here and brought groups here too over the years.
Perhaps my favourite coffee spot on the whole of the Wild Atlantic Way (and I've done all of it).
(I remember when this was a pitch and putt course that we used to frequent every week in the summer. I was gutted when it turned into a cafe, but actually my adult-self now thinks it's the best thing ever! Not surprised at all that it's started doing wedding things, as it would be a dream venue to shoot photos on the Diamond Rocks, Amphitheatre etc nearby.)
03/11/2024: Nice place with a great view of kilkee. The blue pools when the tide is out are legendry. With cliff walks and magnificent sea views, the Dimond rocks are great to come back and relax to. Even if it's a tea and scone.

Naughtons
Kilkee
11/03/2025: If you're ever in Kilkee, Co. Clare, Naughton’s Bar & Restaurant is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step inside, the warmth of the welcoming staff and the cozy yet vibrant atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The food is nothing short of exceptional—each dish is a perfect blend of local flavors and culinary creativity.
I opted for the fresh seafood platter, and it was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds—absolutely brimming with fresh, locally sourced delights. The portions were generous, and the presentation was artful. I also tried their renowned fish and chips, which were perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.
The service was impeccable. The team is attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made sure that we felt at home from start to finish, offering great recommendations and making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal.
The ambiance is perfect for any occasion—whether you’re on a romantic date, a family dinner, or a casual night out with friends, Naughton’s has the perfect vibe. They even have a great selection of craft beers and wines to complement your meal.
I can't recommend Naughton’s enough—it's one of those rare places where the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere all come together perfectly. A true gem in Kilkee!
22/09/2024: Amazing seafood dishes here. Love it. We will definitely be back. 👍👍👍

Holly's Café
Kilkee
07/04/2025: Popped in for breakfast, unfortunately the kitchen was closed today. Had a sausage roll and cake with a really good coffee. Everything was very good and the café is really bright and airy. Nice outdoor seating area too. Would definitely recommend!
03/04/2025: OMG delicious, we drove an hour from Doolin and stopped here for breakfast on the way to Dingle. We got the Pancakes, breakfast Bap, chocolate croissant, cappuccino, and orange juice and it was all delicious!

11/03/2025: The hotel was in a great location , and the receptionist was lovely and very helpful . The room was quite large, which was a bonus, but they could do with a bigger tv if you were staying for any length of time .
08/03/2025: Good location, close to the beach and walking distance to pubs and restaurants.

The Irish House
Kilkee
26/02/2025: First thing first ... The coffee was great 👍 if you love a good cup of coffee, this is the place. There's hot food options like toastie, panini and baps and a great selection of delicious cakes.
There's also an outside sitting area to enjoy the sun and fresh air , also heater above outside table if it gets a bit frosty.
04/11/2024: I love this family run café. The coffee is good but the sweet treats and fresh bread baked in store every day are even better. The staff are always so nice and the service is great. A-must-visit in Kilkee.

Ali G
Kilkee
27/11/2024: 12.50 for a 14" pizza that was outstanding. I had the Punjabi Pizza, and I would highly recommend it. Very friendly girl behind the counter.
Will definitely be back.
Keep doing what you are doing.
5 stars all day for that pizza.
10/11/2024: Came from Dublin for a weekend day out to Kilkee and saw this takeaway shop at the coast. We ordered the Achari Pizza and Punjabi Pizza for takeaway, and both were delicious! They really reminded me of classic Indian-style pizzas. We also tried the chicken seekh kebab as a starter, and the quality and quantity were great for the price. The staff was super friendly, too. They have a good range of shakes, and we tried the Kinder Bueno shake — it was amazing!

The Central Bar
Kilkee
12/03/2025: Had a right good session with a nice crowd of locals who made me feel very welcome! What made it even better was that Ireland beat Wales!
Very nice Guinness, super friendly staff, and lots of em, so barely a seconds wait at the bar.
Good stuff, will be going back!
09/03/2025: Ideal spot for a drink and a bit of craic by the beach. Friendly locals, amazing pints and unbelievable music acts on the weekends. If a local or a tourist I couldn’t recommend a better bar in Co.Clare

Myles Creek Bar
Kilkee
15/01/2025: I had the most wonderful time at Myles Creek Guest House. I stayed for 4 nights just to read, hike and relax and it was the perfect location and accomodation.
Lovely staff in the restaurant/bar that made my stay feel homely and authentic. The atmosphere was very calm, being close to the beach and hiking trails was perfect.
30/11/2024: Stayed here many rooms ago. Summer time it's a vibrant place and was back here for dinner lately and bravo...it was excellent with a family atmosphere added to the mix. I shall return Myles Creek. Keep up the good work.

The Pantry
Kilkee
26/08/2024: The sandwiches at The Pantry are hard to beat. Top-quality ingredients, generous portions and a wide variety of options. Their scones and carrot cake are also well worth trying. The only downside is a lack of indoor seating which surely is a bit of a must given the unpredictable weather on the west coast.
26/08/2024: I have been going to Kilkee for the last forty years, and The Pantry has gotten progressively bewildering in what it is trying to achieve. Back in the day, it was a thriving Café and bakery, serving cooked breakfasts, sandwiches, and delicious treats. They have changed a lot over the years, and the current layout doesn't do it justice. The majority of the space is taken up with what I assume is intended to be an Italian style Delhi, with displays of jams, wines, olive oils and pastas. This runs alongside a hot counter and baked goods stand, and a seperate coffee counter. This peculiar layout is entirely at the expense of adequate indoor seating, in the wilds of west clare. There are a handful of small tables inside the front door, and an outdoor seating area with no awning or umbrellas despite frequent heavy rain. The food is very good quality, but you are paying Café prices for essentially take-away food, which is served in single use plastic, even if you are eating "in", and the staff can be gruff. The Pantry gets away with this solely because of the lack of competition. Save your money and head for Beag in Kilrush.
