14/12/2024: This restaurant was our choice of place for a retirement party on a cold December evening recently. As we entered the premises we were met by a roaring fire and greeted warmly by Tony and waitress Claire. The food was delicious and caters for special dietary requirements if necessary. The portions were very generous and great value for money. The service was attentive and there was no long delays between courses. I highly recommend Cogan's Bar to anyone looking for a quality meal in a relaxing cosy atmosphere.

High spec, large and absolutely spotless rooms sit directly above Michael A’s pub.
Would highly recommend
05/09/2024: Called in first thing today and had stayed longer than expected. We had very nice creamy pints,easily the best I had in milltown malbay. Service was brilliant and the barman was v friendly. Plenty of screens for sports. Highly recommend

04/10/2024: Great breakfast option. The meat pies and sausage rolls were delicious. The rhubarb crumble delicious. We hit this for breakfast to go several days in a row and were delighted each time.

22/12/2024: came to Ireland after a very long flight, took a car went to clare and went to this super duper bar. Did our first guinness here with the very best people of the Ireland. Loved it awesome place must must must visit.

The Dolphin Cafe & Take Away

02/06/2024: This take away was recommended by a fellow camper staying in Tom Malones, it did not disappoint, the fish in particular was delicious. The portions are large, making it even better value for money. I would def recommend this local take away.

18/08/2024: Fast on preparing the food. Very kind lady on the reception, and brother at the back too. Price was ok. Ordered doner kebab meal (halal), taste is acceptable, not the best but I've had worst. Does the job tackling the hunger and fulfilling the belly, alhamdulillah. Overall it's a good takeaway, but the biggest room there is, is the room for improvement in sha Allah.
