30/03/2025: A couple we ran into down the street recommended this restaurant for our family. This was the best restaurant by far that we have been to this trip! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
23/02/2025: Cogan' s was recommended by the bar man in O'Loughlins. He was spot on. A warm welcome, good choice on menu. Food was good and priced fairly. We will be back when we visit Co. Clare again

07/04/2025: Such a cool, old pub with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The barman was super friendly, We were lucky enough to be seated near the fireplace, which made the experience even more cozy and enjoyable.
15/02/2025: If it's a step back into nostalgic ireland your looking for,look no further ,dosnt get any more traditional Irish,from the traditional music to the pint of stout .this is a true rarity in modern Ireland

16/05/2025: We stopped in for a bite to eat while we were driving through town. What a great experience! The locals were welcoming and friendly. The owner was delightful and makes a great ham and cheese sandwich. BTW, the music I was telling you about was “red dirt music”. Thanks for a fun afternoon.

06/04/2025: Fantastic accommodation so clean and modern they thought of everything! Stayed in room 5 for day 2 of a wedding. Sorry we didn’t stay here for the two nights! It was bright and spacious with full length mirror on the door and lighted mirror in the bathroom, massive shower, comfortable bed and Netflix and Prime compatible TV. Lock boxes for door keys making it easy if you get separated from your group to get in to your room and security cameras making you feel completely safe there. Loved it will definitely be back! Used their own website to book for even better value.
24/03/2025: Stayed with my grandsons , in March, everything and everyone were amazing, spotless, warm , and so easy to access, cannot recommend highly enough, The bakehouse restaurant across the road was unbelievable, thanks to you all for your hospitality

18/03/2025: First time in Spanish point and found it to be a lovely part of the wild atlantic way. A beautiful day for a walk along the beach and then lunch at Johnny Burkes in the Armada Hotel.
My Wife wasn't very hungry so just had the soup of the day which was parsnip, she really enjoyed it.
I had the roast rib of beef with all the trimmings and it was excellent.
Service was very fast considering it was very busy.
I'm already looking forward to a return trip during the summer.
19/01/2025: Johnny Burke's bar at the Amada in Spanish Point is brilliant. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are welcoming and delightful. The food menu is very good indeed. Spectacular location, spectacular staff.

22/12/2024: came to Ireland after a very long flight, took a car went to clare and went to this super duper bar. Did our first guinness here with the very best people of the Ireland. Loved it awesome place must must must visit.

13/02/2025: Visited this gem of a cafe for the first time today, and we will definitely be back. The staff were lovely, and really accommodating, moving tables so that our family group could sit together and interacting brilliantly with the children. Food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious, with generous portions. Two people had 'The Whole Hog' breakfast, which was ENORMOUS and cooked to perfection. The rest of us had gorgeous bagels, and a special plate of toast appeared to keep the toddler happy. Locally sourced bacon and puddings were excellent. We left full and happy, and hope to be back soon!

05/03/2025: Probably the worst fish n chips ever……
Simple. I wanted fresh fish and chips. He said the fish was fresh. Ok fish and chips please.
The fish was small and dry and could not have been fresh. And they are not chips but frozen fries.
Got back and ate some of the fish and threw the lot away…… we stayed hungry.
