The best restaurantsof irish in Miltown malbay

18/03/2025: First time in Spanish point and found it to be a lovely part of the wild atlantic way. A beautiful day for a walk along the beach and then lunch at Johnny Burkes in the Armada Hotel. My Wife wasn't very hungry so just had the soup of the day which was parsnip, she really enjoyed it. I had the roast rib of beef with all the trimmings and it was excellent. Service was very fast considering it was very busy. I'm already looking forward to a return trip during the summer.

19/01/2025: Johnny Burke's bar at the Amada in Spanish Point is brilliant. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are welcoming and delightful. The food menu is very good indeed. Spectacular location, spectacular staff.

03/08/2026: I had a terrible experience here during the Willie Clancy Festival. I opened the entrance door because I was looking for my lady friend, who needed a lift home. I politely asked if she was inside, but before I could even explain properly, I was violently pushed back out through the doorway. It was one of the rudest interactions I have ever had with customers at any establishment in Ireland. There was absolutely no need for such aggressive behaviour when I was simply trying to find someone. Based on this experience, I would never open that door again, let alone consider returning. A very disappointing and unpleasant experience.

12/05/2026: So welcoming, nice, best home-cooked food, great drinks, and the best people you will ever meet. Can't thank you enough. Will never forget. Hope to see you all again soon.

05/03/2025: Probably the worst fish n chips ever…… Simple. I wanted fresh fish and chips. He said the fish was fresh. Ok fish and chips please. The fish was small and dry and could not have been fresh. And they are not chips but frozen fries. Got back and ate some of the fish and threw the lot away…… we stayed hungry.
